lateral raises and roid

It's all about the overhead press.

OHP, Arnold press, lat raises and bent over lat raises.

get big boy test level

Literally genetics.

Gotta lift big to get big, c'mon!

Genetics + Directly working them + good propotioned traps to make them look better
Bonus points for roids

Dumbbell shoulder press high weight 6-8 reps.

pullups, pulldowns wide arm pushups, military pushups (close hand, palms under shoulder), more pullups, overhead press.

Just some test gave my shoulders the shape all these exercises listed above just couldn't.

Its all a sham.

you are born with them nigger

those looks fine to me, OP. I guess they're inflated because you just pumped, but if you can get them that size unpumped I wouldn't worry

Width is genetics, see Jeff

That's not OP, that's what OP wants to look like

you sure? the face is blocked out. usually that means it's an user

Op looking like pic related

Run Smolov Jr. for OHP instead of bench. My shoulders always sucked until I ran 2 consecutive cycles; went from a 150lb 1RM to 185 and stopped looking DYEL in 6 weeks. Should also be matched with chinups between sets to help reinforce proper lat engagement.

make ohp your main upper body movement and hit lateral raises hard like 4 times a week

The file name is a Jow Forums string; it's someone else he saved from here

i guess you're right.
well in that case, OP, if you can get your shoulders unpumped to look like that you're fine. and there's nothing extraordinary about those, your genetics shouldn't be a hindrance.

just do shoulder workouts. now, you can't just spam your side deltoid, you have to also do your front and back deltoids because if they're imbalanced it can cause back/neck discomfort.

so do three different shoulder workouts, and stick with it. the deltoids are very small muscles so it will take you a long time to see the results that you want. just be patient and keep with it.
it is very rewarding once you achieve though. nothing does more for your physique than wide shoulders, and since it's so hard to achieve, most people won't have them and you'll have en edge.

Side lateral raises and facepulls to hit the neglected side and rear delts. Shrugs (big traps give the visual impression of larger shoulders). I'm going to be a little controversial and say that if you bench regularly, you're probably hitting your front delts plenty.

yeah many upper body workouts are already hitting that front deltoid, it usually doesn't require focus

Dedicate one day a week to just shoulders for one year, cheers!

BTN press
Whatever variation of lateral raises that gets you the biggest pump.

stop giving advice if you're a sub 1st year lifter

I still have baby shoulders but I fear big shoulders will ruin my already narrow frame

keep goin brother. u got this

all I do is latteral raises 5 x 12 and Dumbbell Shoulder Press 5 x 10

looks like you need to do a few more DYEL

is that pumped up? don't lie

>DYEL

I lifted for 8months 3times a week.

this is close to the natural limit that you can have after 1year of lifting starting from DYEL.

My abs are pumped, I can't remember what routine I did that day. But I remember I did some abs at the end to take this picture.

whats your shoulder width?

if only your abs are pumped here, then that looks great. keep doing your thing

that's not being a sub 1st year lifter. that's just being an idiot

Height and weight?

Delts - (3 heads)
> military press barbell/dumbell
either sitting/standing/smith machine
> rotator cuff "rehab cable exercises"
high rep - low weight cable rotations
> rear delt flyes
seated/leaning against a leaning bench/bent over or single handed

no

shit angle if you want to show off delts, cant even notice if youve got rear delts at all and trapezius will look smaller in that pose

Thanks for reminding me that OHP is superior to dumbbells

>new fag doesnt use 4chanx randomize file name
its another user though because this iamge has been reposted a thousand times

what's better seated or standing OHP

Does not matter
Choose wich one you want

i think im gonna coom

ohp , lat raise and pray for more androgen receptors

Manlet confirmed, almost all door handles are about the same height. Door handles reach my hip while the door handle on OP's pic is almost at the level of his belly button.

>pretty good traps
>decent outer chest
>completely flat delts
>incorporated lateral dumbbell raises into routine for about a year
>had a 170x4 OHP
>delts still flat
>bulk of chest is pretty flat too

I see bigger dudes than me with better numbers with the same problem. I think it's just genetics

I would point you to Dr. Mike.
I can't remember the fibre composition of the shoulders but I suspect they are predominantly intermediate and slower twitch muscles, meaning you'll get more benefit from 10-15 rep ranges than 5-9. Then again, fast twitch types balloon and grow more than slow twitch fibers so you'll just have to hit them all.

fuck the shoulders, focus on your chin fat, you look like a dork

volume and frequency for side delts
not neglecting rear delts
