Just got myself a pair of 20lb dumbbells and a pack of protein shakes bc no consistent money for gym membership. Time to change.
What kind of exercises can I do with them to bulk up?

throw the dumbell at your wall and scream x 5
Ah yes, the vegeta technique
Just do this with one hand first and use other to assist.
Then go unassisted
Then both at same time.
Drop parts of motion when you cant do it.
Holy shit my boomer dad used to this all the time
So that's a curl combo'd with an OHP, but what's the last part, and what is the entire thing called? Based boomer might actually be based for once.
Skullcrushers, overhead press, Arnold press, bicep curls, hammer curls, weighted pushups, squats, Romanian deadlifts, hip thrusts, weighted crunches. You will outgrow a majority of those exercises in like a month at that weight but it's a start.
why talk to yourself op
Tricep extension? Idk if there is a name for the overall combination of exercises or what that name might be.
it's kinda like a skullcrusher innit?
How many reps per session, how many of them daily ? Not OP but i've also got a tight budget and got some dumbells from my bro. Been doing some planks + pushup since i've never trained seriously.
My poorfag routine is:
>40 pushups
>1 minute plank
>3x15 chest press
>3x10 bicep curls
>3x5 overhead press
>3x5 dumbbell fly
I started with 20 pound dumbbells but now I use 40 for all of these.
>inb4 no legs
Yeah I know.
> no consistent money for gym membership.
Yeah you've got bigger problems.
Get your shit together. Post budget so we can show how dumb you are with money.
My friend, you need more gear, as poor as you are.
Spinlock dumbbells with spare standard plates are the best value and add a huge amount of variation.
Check craigslist (etc) for a used commercial bench too.
Literally just started a job, but got school debt to pay off
Will do, definitely gonna save up for a little bench and other shit down the line
Sounds neat, though I could probably do some stairway climbs at my college, theres a nice 4 story building I can go up and down for like 30 mins a day
Don't buy a home one, not worth it, they suck.
Post budget so we can see how dumb you are with money
also post ass
Work 12 hrs a week for 10 bucks an hour. Ain't much at all, but I'm trying to work my way up.
It's a start. Start saving $1 ~ $5 per week. Stash them somewhere and don't touch them. Track your finances and see where you spend the most.
I know exactly where my funds go, food mainly. I spend upwards of 14 hours out all day at school/work and I gotta eat around in the area. Shit sucks but beats carrying a lunch box like a 5 year old
And games but less so
Just wanted to tell you that I like this picture, mind if I save it?
The last part is an overhead two handed tricep extension. You can do it one handed as well. Not sure if the entire procedure has its own name.
You faggot, carrying lunch is fine.
my poorfag routine:
I own one 15kg rusted dumbell which my grandpa casted himself when he was young
day 1:
4x6 weighted pushups with 30 lbs backpack
4x6 one handed overhead dumbell press
day2:
4x7 bicep curl
4x10 one handed rows
and some plankin here and there as well
Cool dumbbell
Do pistol sqauts for legs
