3 had an interesting story , sidequests , places , people.
In vegas you don't choose your destiny , you just decide if you want to kill someone or not

Gunplay, atmosphere, and world get completely revamped in Anomaly. It's basically what the game should've been, but never got to be.

OP here, just wanted to add that the jak and daxter series was phenominal and also the destroy all humans first of the trilogy was awesome, but only because i was a kid when i played them. I know no one cares, but if your reading this I'm glad I wasted both of our times.

Ratchet And Clank as well. I play the first one normally, Going Commando in first-person mode, Up Your Arsenal in lock-strafe and Deadlocked in third person mode like the first game.

Even Fallout 4 was better than New Vegas

The pinnacle of video games is Team Fortress 2. The fact that it can cater to casual and competitive people. Having memorable characters with big personalities, with different weapons to allow for different playstyles. It was one of the earlier games with a Free-To-Play model with lootboxes and an online store. It is also a game which established a large communtiy presence. It was also a game that used the pre-teen/early teenage market for games. It is still widely played today and I do not see it completely dying for at least another 5 years as there is nothing that replaces TF2.

NV felt too bloated and like a F3 third party knockoff. Maybe it's personal bias, got it too late when videogames no longer felt immersive and more like a waste of time.

New Vegas had fantastic writing, but the game engine was shit, the mechanics are streamlined for casuals who don't know RPGs, and the play area is incredibly small, even compared to classic Fallout.
