hey OP, how're you doing?
thx for making a comfy thread
I'm on my way back home and I just got told my cousin got arrested so I'm not feeling very comfy
Im doing meh, currently cramming for a bunch of uni exams I deferred a month ago because I couldnt handle the pressure of school back then. Going to write 4 exams in a row in 48 hours from now so im a bit stressed. Dang, what did he get arrested for?
stealed a bag from an old lady basically
Why did he steal it? Did she have any valuables? Or is he klepto
Hi OP. I never really post, mostly just lurk around comfy threads, but I've been playing Okami recently and other than some bouts of frustration here and there, it's a really comfy game
bedposting rn
max comfy
don't know why he stole, anyway no, he's not klepto
Been horribly hungover and uncomfy all day.
In bed now and hangover has gone so guess I'm comfy by comparison, feeling down though.
Why do you feel down, user?
Welcome to this comfy corner of r9k user. Never heard of that game but it looks like it had wind waker art vibes.
Enjoy your your stay
youtu.be
Now that you mention it, it does kind of look like Wind Waker. So how are you OP? Feeling comfy?
Ill post a few I've got. Good thread guys btw
Hope everyone doing alright and having a comfy time.
I can also dump some comfy wallpapers if you guys like
Not sure where this image is from but I imagine it's comfy on the inside of that machine.
Yes please based wallpaper user
This is one of my faves. CHOO CHOO
Not a fan of cities but they are nice in the winter.
I'm currently on page 510 of Eldest
room pics tend to be v comfy
Eldest is the second book in the Inheritance Cycle
My folder isn't as big as I thought it was :/
Wish /wg/ was more active
I want to finish Eldest by Wednesday, so I can read Brisingr on my trip
Sounds cool, what is it about?
Oh fug, I didn't mean to reply to you, but I doubt I'll ever, ever, get to talk to anyone about this series, so I'll describe it. In Eragon, a farmer boy finds a stone that turns out to be a dragon egg and eventually his house and family get killed by a group called the Ra'zac who work for the empire and to avoid spoilers, I'll just say that the rest of Eragon and as far as I am in Eldest consist of him journeying to a place to get allies to take down the Empire and its evil king Galbatorix
I'm feeling really nostalgic and rn, in a comfy way tho. I feel like everything from the past few months that happened to me is coming out rn. Bad breakup, academic probation, and shitty home life makes me wanna relive a childhood on my own. I guess I'm just feeling a bit overwhelmed
For sure, go ahead! I always collect comforting pics and look at them when I'm stressed or sad
Snowy related anything is super cozy
Sounds nice, I've been looking for a good long adventure series.
I've recently finished the first book of Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, it was good but short (but thankfully there are a few books in the series I can continue reading)
What are you feeling nostalgic for? Video games? Music? TV shows? Movies? Childhood memories? Enlighten me, O glorious (what I presume to be) OP
From what I've read online the whole Inheritance Cycle is often compared to the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but I don't really see why that's a bad thing considering they're both really good
I've only starting reading books again recently and I would highly recommend it for anyone that doesn't read
One thing I like is that there are three concurrent stories going on in Eldest that all link to each other
Unrelated, but what is your guys' favorite Pokemon?
Mine's Eevee. It's kind of a lame choice, but I've liked Eevee ever since I was very little
I'm really looking forward to Pokemon Sword and Shield
I'm starting to think this thread is kind of dying
I'll still post though
Just the period of time when I knew everything will be alright with the world. I was a blissfully ignorant child who though that everything would work out fine when I'm older. I wanted to make my parents proud, but they've never given me any sort of validation.
We grew up poor so I'm in the process of starting a few businesses to get hopefully long term investment gains so I can pay off their debts and my own current uni debt. When you're told you're a failure daily by your parents, it makes you break down sometimes, they tell me my decisions are never going to work out.
I just wish that I could go back to my childhood where I could just spend all my days in the library reading novels and manga, it was my escape. I wish I didn't need their validation. Sorry for the rant, I guess I'm just feeling a bit lost in life right now.
Zorua/Zoroark for sure
Loved everything about them from the day they were announced.
Grovyle was my fav from childhood. He was super cool with his leaf blade arms
You don't have to apologize, user. I'm pretty sure we're all lost in life right now. We're (probably) 18-25 years old and on Jow Forums. You're among friends
I really like Zorua and Zoroark too. Nice choice
>Blade arms
Gallade would like to know your location
I'm still here, don't worry friendos
Yo listen up, here's the story about a little guy that lives in a blue world. And all day and all night, and everything he sees is just blue like him.
This cozy thread needs more comfiness
I agree, user. I like your GIF
Thank you user. You're right, most of us are trying to find our way I guess. Here's to all of us making it
That's the fun, but scary part of being young I guess
I like butts originally
I need more posts from you other anons
I'll keep talking to myself as always
feWEGWEGWEGWEGWEGWEGWEG
Jag hoppas det
This thread's not dead, it's truly alive
henlo anons from all over the world, how are you doing?
I'm doing pretty good, user. Thanks for asking. I'm just waiting for my package to show up. How about you, my main mane Maine man?
what package? btw not feeling really good atm, I'm this is what happened to me: I'm that same user who posted a while ago
I ordered the next book in the series that I was talking about earlier and a pair of wireless headphones. How/why did your cousin get arrested?
he bag-snatched an old lady on a street, don't know much else, he's currenty held for arrest warrant so that's it
i miss making trips to blockbuster as a family. my little brother and i would find a movie to borrow and maybe a n64/playstation game as well and try to beat it in a week with the limited time we got on our consoles. browsing through each aisle and begging my parents for some overpriced boxed candy while we checked out is one of my favorite memories as a kid. usually went on friday evening right before sunset and the sky was beautiful each time
comfy story bro and nice dubs
thanks user, nice thread. hope your day and weekend goes well friend
I know he's your cousin, but if he actually did that, he deserves to get arrested
I'm probably younger than you are, so I only witnessed the death of video rental stores, but I also remember renting PlayStation 2 games on Fridays around 2005 right before my local video store went out of business
to be honest even in its heyday you werent missing much lol. its just my boomer nostalgia glasses that leave me with such fond memories. man renting video games on friday was so crucial, giving you the entire weekend to try and beat it asap. i remember blockbuster let you extend your rental but it always felt like a personal challenge to beat it in the first week allotted
what vidya did you play which were your favourites?
Took this picture this morning. Used to hike this way with my girlfriend.
man this was around 15 years ago so its all a blur but one game stands out to me: harvest moon 64. i thought it would be a girly game but my friends sister recommended it so i went for it and fell in love with the quaint vibe. ended up asking my parents to get it for me for my next birthday or christmas or something. how about you user?
I never really had any good PlayStation 2 games back then. A lot of weird, obscure shit like Open Season or Corvette. I didn't get introduced until really good games until I got my DS in 2008 and was introduced to Mario, Pokemon, and Kirby
That's really beautiful, user. Wales and all of the United Kingdom have a lot of nice scenery
my favourite game of Playstation 2 was Ratchet and Clank 2 (which I completed 100% but it took years for that because my lil brother deleted my save like two or three times when I was about to do it)
good taste. i definitely remember playing the first but cant remember if i finished the second. god i miss those kind of platformer games from that era
I was an idiot kid with a system with games that mostly pertained to adults, so I missed out on a lot of amazing PlayStation 2 games like Grand Theft Auto, Metal Gear Solid, and God of War. I am playing the HD remake of Okami on my Switch if that's any consolation.
Yeah I have so many pictures from across the UK. Mostly Wales. It helps me stay sane.
yeah, Jak and Dexter was also my shit, those games were dope af
I played Okami on the PS2 emulator but didn't finish it, although it was really comfy, I really love the graphics
I wish I had large expanses of land like that where I live in midwestern Burgerland. Forests are nice, but it's kind of repetitive when that's all one can see
It's surprisingly good with god-tier music
One of the few comfyroom pics i havent seen 60 times, good work
I can't tell if you're being ironic or not, but thanks either way
I hope she has grandsons and that your cousin gets beaten into a coma for this.
I'm really satisfied about my life and I don't need to throw shit at others too
how's it possible that you are so similar to me user?
Not that user, but that GIF seems more gross than comfy. To me at least
smoking is comfy imo, doesn't matter where you trhow ashes
I can see why you'd think that, but the only thing I think of when I think of smoking is lung cancer and nicotine addiction.
this thread gave me a craving to revisit an old favorite so im going to be playing a nuzlocke run of pokemon crystal. stay comfy everyone
I was serious. The same 4 room pics get posted every time and this isnt one I have seen every time
I played Gold for the first time last summer (I played SoulSilver when it came out in 2010, don't worry) and I found the game amazingly comfy. Make sure to get Espeon!
The first post to the guy with the room pic was sincere.
Im happy with my life and want a better world and thats why I dont want sumbag parasites like your shithead cousin to terrorize the fucking elderly. That woman is probably on a tight fixed income and will never make that lost money up. I sincerely hope someone stomps his nuts into a pulp.
I thought you were being sarcastic because I've seen that picture a fair amount of times in comfy threads
I share this sentiment, but not to the extent
Yeah we're pretty lucky here. There's a lot of things to complain about but the scenery isn't one of them. I had to compress this one because of Jow Forums's shitty 2MB file size limit though.
Thanks for the thread, OP. My mom just told me that she had something in her brain and that she might have to undergo surgery. I can't sleep.
I know the struggle, user. I had to post my wallpapers from smallest to largest
i'm an idiot. i'm an idiot. i'm an idiot.
let me die pls holy fuck let me die pls holy fuck i just want to die pls let me die pls let me die
hoping this game will be comfy
well sure there's a lot of hype around it, who knows if it'll be as good as everyone expects?
Why do you say that, user? I don't think you're an idiot
I hope so too, user. Cyberpunk looks promising
