Get a job so I can buy a house in the hood and support myself.

I don't want my parents to run out of money. If I don't get an inheritance I'll probably be working until death.

What do you think is the best strategy: apply to the best-paying jobs or apply to the lowest-paying jobs in hope of less competition?

I'm thinking they might be more lenient if I applied for a position say stocking shelves in the middle of the night for minimum wage. Does anyone know if part-time is easier to obtain than full-time?

What I really would like is full-time and at least $15/hr and not 16 hours a week and $11/hr but one might be more achievable than the other. I do have a college degree. No idea if that would help. I would assume so, but 40% of people have degrees these days.
