Why is it so hard to build muscle? I don't want to look like an auschwitz victim.

Eat a lot and get enough sleep in conjunction with your workouts
eat more
lift more
then eat even more when you say it doesn't work
you just eat a shitload of protein+carbs and lift
all you need are freeweights
dont get the pussy versions you need some struggle
Try being 6'4, I have to eat approx 3000 calories every day to gain any weight. I am 159 lbs. I think there is something seriously wrong with me.
If you're skinny you're at the perfect state.
Look into fitness, you basically want to be at caloric surplus, lots of proteins, lift and good sleep
Drink one gallon of whole milk every day alongside your normal meals. If you can't handle this, just go get your balls snipped now.
The only "victims" of Auschwitz were those who were not able to receive food and supplies when the allies bombed Germany's railroads.
It also depends on your phenotype
some dudes just cant get big no matter what they do, they just get more toned.
But don't get discouraged lifting is all about self improvement, if youre trying to look exactly like someone else youre doing it wrong
I thought phenotypes had been disproved?
the phenotype thing is bullshit, nobody can't get big
These guys are right. When I started lifting, I saw results, but not enough. Then I started eating way more and it helped a lot.
The only thing that sucks is eating more than I want to since I hate being full, but the more you eat, the more you get used to it, and you don't feel as full as a result.
Lift and eat a lot, and you'll see results. It's crazy how much you have to eat. The only xrazier thing is how much people eat without working out to become mega lardasses.
Pathetic.
it isn't count calories and exercise, you can gain about 1.5kg per month for the first 6 months of lifting assuming you're eating enough calories (and remember, unless you count your calories you saying I do eat enough if worthless) you can gain about 10-15kg without going above 20% bf then cut down to 12-15%, eating a lot more will suck at first, so will lifting weights but the human body can adjust to a lot more than people give it credit for, after a while eating what is now a high amount will feel normal, lifting weights will feel good
What's your weight / height user? I have exactly the same problem I'm 180 and weigh 50kg
How tf do I eat more when I instantly feel nausea whenever I eat more if I'm full?
Space your meals out more, snack throughout the day
>The only xrazier thing is how much people eat without working out to become mega lardasses
Because you're eating a lot of good food with nutrients. It's pretty easy to go over if you snack on cookies and shit like that.
its not but you can do it , plan and spread out your meals start with like 5 meals a day and try adding more and more meals as you progress. Your stomach is like a balloon and will slowly stretch. try to get to 7 or 8 meals a day. Stick to a progressive overload routine and stay extremely consisted. Do this without fail for 6 months and you start to notice a difference. even doing all of this you will only gain a couple pounds at a time. Aim to gain like 15 lbs in a year that a good amount
Fair point.
I drink too much, but still have to force myself to eat more. Other than that, I suppose I have a decent diet. Most fat people would probably get more nutrients if they ate my shit than what they currently shovel down their fat gullets.
You're not eating enough. That is the answer for hardgainers 99.9% of the time.
Get a blender and make shakes. Add milk, oats, peanut butter, protein powder, anything you can think of that's high-calorie but still reasonably healthy.
>Don't try anything in life, it's pointless. You will never achive your dreams.
That's you right now

>get 9 hours of sleep bro!
It's not fair. I take care of my elderly mother. That means I'm not allowed to get a full night of sleep. I have to wake up every couple hours when she hollers that she needs to pee, or when she gets into a coughing fit and can't breathe, or when she just forgets that it's 3AM and thinks it's time to get up. I haven't gotten more than 4 hours of straight sleep in over 7 years. It's just not possible. Every night I have to wake up multiple times and so I'm just not allowed to build muscle.
Ive been doing this but i feel like im getting fat faster than im building muscle. Maybe i need to lift more but i already go to the gym like 4-5 times a week
if this is u ur really cute, just saying
okay when you guys keep saying "eat more"
does just anything work? should i be eating mcdonalds every day? or ordering pizza every night?
Op i would smash UwU
It all comes down to calories in the end for gaining weight so yes anything works but that doesn't mean it's healthy weight. You eat shit you will look like shit. Try limiting sugars and fast food. Most importantly is to make sure you are lifting while bulking or else you are just getting fat and not bulking.
You can do it that way, but it's a 'dirty bulk'. You'll feel like shit, your macros will probably be all screwy, and you'll probably gain a bunch of fat along with the muscle.
Doing it clean (rice, chicken, veg) will bring better results.
