GTA 5 has been out for 6, and 4 years on different platforms. Any yall "OG's" who started playing in 2013-2015 still play today?
Any yall fags still playing gta 5?

i actually re-installed it and went through the game again about 2 weeks ago. it wasn't as good as i remembered.
Had mine day 1, October 10th some year I believe. The most recent I played was a few months ago, grinded online with friendly servers until I just got bored of the repetitive content and single player neglect. Same deal with rdr2. Probably will be the last rockstar of david game I buy
I've played gta V since day one, I remember waiting anxiously for gta online bc playing with all of my friends would be the most lit experience and it was. Stopped playing when the game was essentially pay to get all these new cool stuff. Didn't have the time to grind for money, didn't want to buy my way in. No one I know plays this anymore, I know I don't, but I've enjoyed this game to the fullest years ago
I used to play every day and go to stance car meets, until my Xbox account got permanently banned back in 2017
I liked GTA 3 and Vice City way back when. But then San Andreas came out and there was this system where you stop in on friends and have a hunger meter and I was like, this is way to much bother, if I wanted the sims I'd play that. I haven't played a GTA game since then.
yea i've always hated how forced it is. i only do those 'buddy' things if its required for a mission, other than that i just don't care about it. its just not fun or immersive for me, it completely takes me out of the game.
I've been thinking about getting into roleplay servers. Is it worth it?
Theyre fun to fuck around in, dont be too serious in them or youll just be a faggot
Yeah I got gta 5 within the first few days.
Ive actually never played through single player that much, only 20% through or so until my windows install decided to fuck itself and I lost my save. But red dead 2 isnt appealing to me at all. red dead 1 was fun to play online back when but eh...
I use it to blow off steam yes
The game came out September 17th 2013, it was a school day and I remember fast walking from the school bus to my mailbox and spending the rest of the day playing it. Played the story probably 5 times through, played a a shit ton of online as well. I was always the fag in a jet griefing people and pissing them off, it was some of the funniest times gaming I can remember. God I can still remember some of the lobbies I played in summer of 2014. Having 12 players ganging up on me at the military base trying to stop me from getting a jet. Those were good times. Cant believe its been 6 years.
This tbqh. The story mode is pretty bad
Every now and then. Though that's mostly playing it for LSPDFR which adds a whole new dimension to it.
>6 years is a long time for zoomers
feels like yesterday
I used to stop by my weed dealers house every day after work to play cause I was poor and couldn't afford my own console. I would buy like a gram and smoke most of it there with him, just so I could come back the next day.
Still play, still goin strong. In a racing crew and we race pretty much every night. Send me a reply if anyone is interested
We play on Xbox btw
What is the best rockstar game boys?
For me, it's manhunt
I have 2 characters both rank 400+. I will never get sick of this game. Wonder how long it will take for it to die out. If they'll shut the servers or if it will become deserted with just a couple of players in each server.
I have it but I can't get myself to play it. It kind of lost its charm. Or I just played too much and am tired of it now.
I've played basically every GTA since GTA2.
Agreed. Micheal is the only character I liked and a lot of missions were shit. thought this back even in 2013.
>10 years ago was 2009
since fucking when? I mean 2009 literally just passed right?
lol xbox
The last two video games I have bought were actually rdr2 and gtaV.
Red dead 2 overrated
Got RDR2 on release date and played through the main game and all the side missions. Lost all interest when you start playing as john marston. probably will never finish it.
Got PS3 version in 2014 and probably spent like 200 hours online
Got PC version after building new computer in 2015 and clocked an additional 500, but was caught in that fucking false banwave last year. Gud game.
made a shitty gta 5 mod:
gta5-mods.com
If you don't have fun for at least three seconds, you get money back.
uhhhh, will I get pussy if I click that link? I mean
>all these gta online fags
>bruh my car got exploded by a jet over and over bruhhhh looool
Where the single player autists
Right here officer content filtering
I haven't purchased a game in years, but I recently torrented GTAV again to run through the story one more time. Don't think I ever finished it. It's just a gorgeous and technically astounding game really. Shame that mods don't really work anymore.
>Shame that mods don't really work anymore
how so? Do they not work on the torrented files?
Mods work fine on my end.
Not sure if it's my version or what, but modded DLCpacks as well as the FOV mod break my game sadly.
tfw you have a paid mod menu to fuck other people over
Played the campaign since day one on Xbox, then moved to PC and tried the online and it was garbage. I think 6 months ago I 100% it and decide to never touch it again.
I torrented it and am using many mods including an fov mod. Gotta use outdated versions of some mods - from the time your game version was released.
I am still playing it, and I'm still playing it pirated.
i play single player from time to time on my gaybox 360. online is for normie chads
I have it modded on PC but sometimes it can be tough to enjoy since I'm using an AMD FX-4130 processor while keeping the graphics at least high for my GTX 1060. Having tbe graphics on Very High made it shit itself.
>online is for normie chads
PS4 is mostly normies and niggers but PC has a lot of nerds and weirdos.
Based. Either this or The Warriors.
Right now I'm getting back into Online, had a level 100+ char on the 360 but I have a PS4 now, so I have to start over.
I actually really like the story mode and characters, to a point where I wrote some fairly long write-ups on them and posted them on /v/ a while back. I really like how Rockstar is using the open world more and more for their characterization, like how they react to the world around them and what they do in their free time and things like that.
I know it's not for everyone but taking time between each mission and hanging out with friends and doing stuff together, checking social media and the news after things happen, and interacting with the world enriched my experience a lot more. It's like all the main story missions are the big, landmark, standout moments in these characters' lives, and all the side content and hangouts are the smaller, more down to earth moments.
It's a lot like IRL in the sense that you won't be able to know everything about another person by going through some tough, outlandish shit together; sometimes you just have to chill, slow everything down, and have a heart to heart or bullshit and banter together to really get to know them. I think this is what the story does really well, and if you do that, you see sides to the three MC's that you won't just from playing the main missions.
I go and kill gangbangersbangers and degenerates wearing the spec ops outfit with the grey skull-mask every now and then in story mode.
I never played through much of the offline, I think I lost all interest when they forced you not to be the nigger for missions of the story. I just wanted to play HD San Andreas and pull drive bys
Like once every four months I'll hop on GTA Online, had a stacked account, and help a friend who is just getting into the game out while asking for nothing in return just for them to let me know when they want to grind I can help them out. They usually quit playing not long after
One thing I will say is that it's the most active nonMMORPG community I've ever seen at it's age, but it's spread too thin across multiple game modes that no one has consensus interest in. Imagine buying an Arena Workshop and then discovering only like three guys play that entire game update.
