Actually, if you get therapy, BPD has something like a 90% success rate and by success rate I mean they reach a point where they're no longer diagnosed as BPD because they healed themselves and so no longer meet any of the criteria for it.

She just graduated from high school and was going to go study psychology. If she actually did that and had any sort of career dealing with that sort of thing, then yes, I do believe she could of helped thousands of people throughout her career and all those people she helped could have helped many more themselves by being better versions of themselves. The world needs more people like that and unfortunately she was taken from us way too early before she could do any of that good.

Once they get treatment and heal themselves, the bad behavior stops. Just like a drunk person whose throwing up everywhere stops throwing up when they're no longer drunk with a hangover. The difference is the drunk person chooses to drink alcohol (unless addicted and then they need help as well) while mental illness sufferers don't choose to have a mental illness.
