Why do you guys hate California?, I've been living here for a year now and it doesn't seem like a bad place to live

California is ok, its not super liberal like people say unless you go somewhere like UC berkeley. Though yes california is one of the more liberal states.

I would say the major problems of california are State taxes, housing cost, homeless, stupid politics and yuppies

The state taxes are ridiculous along with the housing costs so there is a mass exodus of californians moving out to surrounding states like arizona nevada oregon and texas. Mostly the low income and middle class people.

I moved to nevada and found out instead people are shit where ever you go. Also where i live in the state, these people drive worse than people from sanfrancisco.

The main reason people dont like california or its residents is cause people like someone to pick. Here in nevada they like to talk shit about california drivers but they just as bad.

It gets a lot of flak from the red state conspiracy theorists because its a blue state that is also the fifth largest economy in the world, the home of the major tech companies, and where most of the popular media is produced (think cultural exports in terms of Civ V).

A blue state simply can't be better than the bible belt and all its wonderful exports of corn, mud, and toothlessness. So they pretend CA is some kind of fucked up socialist authoritarian state.
Last time I went to the beach there weren't any blue haired fat feminists handing out mandatory onions. Just smoking hot surfer babes having a good time. Oh, and tourists because people from other countries actually want to come here.

I live in SF and I hate California. It's crowded, you see junkies smoking meth and shooting up in public, there's shit and piss everywhere, all the campgrounds in the """wilderness""" are full of people, it's fucking impossible to get a concealed carry permit and there are no indoor gun ranges, all the people are yuppie social climbers, and all the big cities are overpriced shitholes.

for one, its on the west coast, which already has it marked for death. the homeless/drug issue is fucking absurd. the only place ive seen it worse is in seattle, where i live now. and i even lived in a tame-r area of cali (just a little north of Sacramento) and it was still dogshit. the laws there are braindead too, the people are annoying, and i got heat stroke 4 times over 10 years living there due to summers that got up to 110F. if theres any anons in the thread who want to visit/move to cali, just dont. its not worth it. just stay far far away from the west coast. visit fucking Delaware or something, just not this shithole

Statistically, the lowest quality of life out of all fifty states. Also, the highest poverty rate in the country. And the worst taxes and regulations in the country. And the second or third highest inequality
