I want a control upgrade as well, thinking about the Honeycomb Alpha yoke once it hits normal production and not pre-order bullshit, since I'm learning to fly IRL and want something as close as possible to the controls in a real GA aircraft. From what people with pre-production ones have said it seems like the only decent yoke that isn't some $1k+ professional thing intended for flight schools or whatever.

Do you know anything about the CH products yoke? I'm torn between than and the Saitek yoke since I've heard conflicting reports about both. CH products allegedly has poor build quality and feels like a toy, Saitek allegedly is very imprecise in comparison to the CH products. Of course there are also people on both sides who are perfectly happy with what they bought. I'm getting a Saitek throttle quadrant and rudder pedals anyway.

Mostly Netflix and Amazon streaming video, the occasional stream as well if I feel like kicking back and watching a CS:GO tournament or whatever. The PS4 is sadly pretty much a paperweight now, preordered it during the reveal and got it at launch and then made it obsolete by building a gaming PC less than a year later. I used it as a stream box for a few years but now I've got this new TV with all the smart shit built into it so it's not being used at all.

Yeah, I fucking love them. I'm still sad I couldn't get the plushies of them when I was in Japan just after KF came out, they were super cute but the sale was a random thing where the only way to guarantee getting the ones you wanted was to buy the whole set and I didn't have luggage space to bring that back. (Didn't help that the sale started literally the day I left Japan.)

Both of them seem pretty mediocre from what I've heard. I'd get the Honeycomb if you can, it's more expensive but supposedly a massive upgrade, and that's supported by the photos I've seen of the internals and stuff, and some of the price is mitigated by the fact that you get a built-in switch panel that's pretty much equivalent to the one Saitek/Logitech charges $100 for. I'm planning on getting the yoke and pairing it with a Saitek throttle quad for now and then buying the Honeycomb one when it comes out, that thing looks fucking amazing too and I love how it's reconfigurable from a single-engine GA all the way up to a jet with thrust reversers.

My room is really just a bed in a room. It's small but it's cosy and feels like a little soft nest. I only use it for sleeping and caring for plants. I have an office for work and storage.

I'm looking forward to moving out and getting a bit more space though.
