I tried to cut my own hair I held it up and shaved the sides and the back and it looked so bad. I was under the impression you just shaved the sides and it would be fine but it took some gaps out of the actual hair as well and it was too far up at the back because I went all the way, I didn't realise you're not meant to go all the way up. Now I've just shaved it all off, going to get some shit at work tomorrow but it will grow back.

it's a hobby, and once you've bought your first models and paints, you're supposed to actually spend time painting them, making scenery etc. and playing the game which takes up hours and hours of time, so the investment isn't that much really for the time you get out of them.

they make the models at their HQ in Nottingham. I know because I've been quite a lot as I live in the area and have been into warhammer since I was a child. The factory is built into the building and so if you want a box of something that's out of stock in the shop, you can literally ask them to make one and you get a warm box of freshly made plastic sprues.

actually, making model kits for big robots with lots of flat plating is incredibly easy. the difficulty comes in making small, highly detailed models, and especially ones in fluid poses where the weight of the model rests on thin areas.
