I'm sorry to hear that OP. Honestly, that's why I stick with mostly cardio plus a few calisthenics. It's hard to injure yourself unless you are really over doing it, and most injuries are curable with a little rest and stretching. I did have to go to the doctor and get some orthotics because I have flat feet.

t. been there done that. When I first started running I managed to fuck my legs up so badly that i was limping for weeks. Took literally 4 months to get properly back on my feet. I ended up carefully training my way up to a half marathon, and now I'm training for a full one
