i'm not playing games myself, I just don't have the time and enthusiasm to dive into the new games but man nowadays there are so many good and great games out there, releasing every month, for everyones taste - you just have to find the ones you like

Not quite. I do think spending large sums of money on hardware just to play video games is a bit childish though. I was called out by one of my buddies for buying a T470 because "It's over $1000 and can't even play games."
