"solution"
why did it took so long
Anything stack.
Full stack
Open stack
Networking stack
Compute stack
Turn key solution
nobody is going to invest in your numerical statisticals startup
how would you describe the network stack without the term "network stack"?

do you have a source for this image

Yes

Not him, but that's an imgur filename:
imgur.com
It has 10k+ views, so was probably posted in a porn subreddit. But karmadecay.com
Yandex, tineye, fuck google never checked, there are a lot of hits for it but it seems generic. The 2560 res posted here seems to have the highest integrity of any others I see.

It's not a solution if it doesn't solve a problem but the tech industry uses the word "solution" way outside of its intended scope
Yes.
>IT
Seriously, what the fuck does this mean? I'm an EE and work in embedded systems, people think that means I'm in IT.
IT to me is the fat dork who barely graduated high school who works at the local ISP and tells old ladies how to turn their printers on
Information Technology. It's a really broad term,
I know what the acronym means, it just seems people assign it completely arbitrarily to anything that has to do with electricity for some reason.
From my experience the term IT has come to be a blanket category for anyone with a halfway technical job involving computers or similar devices.
'Service Desk' or just 'Support' are the labels I hear most for those type of first line-ish guys.
