You guys know that this is based on a real upcoming network called the SafeNetwork. Check out maidsafe. Its been in development for around 10 years. The maidsafe team were in contact with the writers. The network is currently in closed alpha2. Alpha3 should be available this year and will be open to anyone to join.

Its weird because Mike Judge (the creator of the show) isn't some dumbass who doesn't know about computers. He majored in Physics and worked for a GPU development company way back in the day in San Francisco. He's very much aware of the terms and how stupid this shit is.
