This is actually happening to me at work with a Mac I have to use with win 7 in parralels. Strangest thing is the fucker is practically airgapped from any network.

any malware could just sit watching for any code (other programs) that asks the os for the cpu usage info, then take action like giving back false info or stopping dodgy stuff
>Cpu is idle
>open up task manager
>cpu ramps up cause its opening tm
>goes down after tm is open
