chocolate, tea and adderall

Coffee, water, eating small meals at regular intervals and taking longer breaks going outside.

I'm not a software engineer/software dev, but my job involves a lot of writing and sitting in front of a computer. Here's some drugs I've tried to improve performance:

>Coffee
Used to be dependent on it. Would drink 3-4 red-eyes per day. Useful to stay awake, after awhile you're just taking it to avoid withdrawals. I'm down to 1 cup per day in the morning.

>(Meth)amphetamines/methylphenidate
Good for short-term use (deadlines and whatnots). Not recommended for long-term use.

>Nicotine
Improves short-term memory and attention. Would recommend either e-cig/patch/gum if you want to use nicotine. Avoid cigarettes, they are the worst way to get nicotine into your body. Highly addictive, so becareful.

>Racetams
Noticeable improvement in mental sharpness. Make sure to cycle your doses to avoid tolerance. Also take some choline alongside your racetams. Stopped doing racetams since it got too expensive for me.

>microdose THC
Very low doses helps keep my depression and anxiety in check. Makes me less distracted by those thoughts. Chronic use can result in reduced mental sharpness (hazy thoughts). Stopped doing it because of that.

>microdose LSD
Started 2-3 weeks ago. 20ug every 2 days. Significant reduction in depression, anxiety and stress. Increased productivity and motivation the first week on. You need to establish good habits during that first week for you to reap the benefits. Oddly enough, I don't like the days when I'm on it. Can feel a little overwhelming.

Tbh though, regular exercise, good diet, and regular water intake can dramatically improve your productivity and health much more significantly than the above-mentioned substances.

no surprise, you're on 20 mg lol, that overwhelms, i dialed it down to 10-12 mg

Yea I'm going to start cutting my dose in half this week. How long have you been microdosing?

30mg of lisdexamphetmine (long release amphetamine) in the morning and another few hours later if needed.

10mg of dexamphetamine interspersed throughout the day about once every 2 hours.

>needs to take drugs to perform somewhat decent

How does one even get into microdosing LSD if one doesn't already hang out with drug-addled degenerates or silicon valley yuppies?

Not this user but something to note about nicotine usage.
Upon first signs of dependance you suffer a longterm diminishing of your sharpness whenever you try to stop or skip your usual intake (this is from cigs/cigars/shisha as my primary usage).

Also intaking a caffiene supplement (one of those weight loss ones that also include greentea leaves or ketones) will have the most dramatic effect as far as forms of caffiene. If you start to feel forms of dysphoria or dependence stopping the caffiene wont be as severe as nicotine, and thus cycling could yield longterm benefits that could out-practical amphetamines.

Regardless though performance enhancing in any capacity is a give and take, unless if you suffer from severe mental trauma, you really shouldnt depend on a crutch, there are plenty of processes that train your brain for permanent gains.

AVI, is that you?

>you really shouldn't depend on a crutch
I agree. The line between controlled use and dependence/addiction is very fine and most people never realize they've crossed it until they decide to stop using.

No, and I don't know who that is.

>1 maybe 2 coffees a day
>lots and lots of water
>maybe some iced tea or a soda
>not junk food
That's all there is to it. If you're taking drugs or drinking 4+ cups of coffee everyday you actually have a mental problem and need to seek help

>being such a drone you take drugs and destroy your body to make your employer more money

Why can't you just not do drugs or coffee and just be productive? Stop being addicted
>ever drinking coffee

Don't do this

Modafinil and Armodafinil will take away any sleepiness you might have and improve your mood for 12h or so. Ate a plate of white pasta or skipped a night of sleep? It might slow you down but at least you're not sleepy.

I take quarter pill (50mg or 38mg respectively) if I need a little pep. Used to take erry weekday but now I'm down to 0-2 times a week. Armodafinil lasts longer and produces more of a rush. At first I had trouble sleeping the next night even I took it in the very morning but now I've adjusted.

They're really useful for skipping sleep or staying alert on a long car trip if you ever have those needs.

Solid advice right here. Add some exercise or outdoor activities and you're going to have more than enough performance.

Different user here. Dosing since September 2016. 20ug every 3 days is where I landed after much experimentation. More or more frequent doses are overwhelming. Less and I feel anxious, but don't have the depression busting effects. Performance boosts have been alarming to my colleagues, who do not know what my secret is, and I have quit all other antidepressants and mood stabalizers after almost six years of risperidone, seroquel, lamotrigine and Paxil.

I take a 3 week break every 7 weeks and reintroduce with a 300-500ug trip, which is fun as hell, but the next two days are terribly unproductive. If I reintroduce at low doses I feel weird in a way that I can't properly explain and my life takes on a "waking dream" feeling for the next day after dosing. This only stops after a full trip.

I am terrified of my source drying up.

Stop doing it

You waste years on medication that doesn't work, decide to kill yourself, tell a friend and try something crazy instead. For weeks after the crazy thing, your depression is gone. Not masked. Not alleviated. Not tolerable. GONE. You don't actually want to do the crazy thing every few weeks because it's exhausting and you are worried it could go bad, but you want the good effects. So you try small amounts. It works. You keep doing it.

Uh - huh. And go back to being depressed and useless instead of a productive functional member of society. Go fuck yourself, narc.

Wtf is phenylpiracetam

why would you want to wageslave more efficiently?

Well, you've convinced me, rando user. "Don't do this." What a powerful argument! You're a regular Nancy Reagan!

To get shit done faster and spend more time not working.

That's not how depression works

The depression understander is here.

Using drugs is for absolute losers. If you need drugs of any kind to function or perform decently you're better off letting the depression or whatever else just take you.

And people who wear glasses should kill themselves too, I'm sure. Your opinion is terrible and you have too little empathy to feel bad about it.

Fucking awesome

It made me angry, calculating, and remembering things that did not happen. Like a data bank was suddenly unlocked and I remembered how to make self-guided bullets with piezo fins, how ballistic computers can calculate wind speed from video feed of how branches bend etc. I have never ever worked on weapons, though, not to mention some futuristic shit, I just remembered it for some reason.

Water, coffee and tea.
I sometimes also drink hot chocolate on the winter.

I understand if you are against using drugs yourselves, but what does it matter to you what someone else is doing to their brain/body?

Drugs have been a part of human history since the beginning. Early humans used drugs to increase productivity (coca, coffee, tobacco), treat illnesses (salicylic acid), and as religious sacraments (mushrooms, ayahuasca, ibogaine). Should we ignore thousands of years of human history just because the government decides that certain drugs are "good" and "bad"?

I'm not trying to say drugs are risk free, and I'm not trying to encourage anyone to use drugs. As said, drugs (performance enhancing or otherwise) have their own sets of pros and cons. It is up to the individual to consider the risks and benefits when deciding whether to use drugs or not.

I use Phenibut.

If I take 1g on an empty stomach with some coffee, it really affects me for the rest of the day, I'm sharper and my mind works quicker.
DESU I use it as self medication as I believe I have some undiagnosed physciatric problem causing "Fuzzy" thinking and mind racing, such as anxiety or onset of Bipolar. With meditation and phenibut I keep it at Bay.

I drink kefir and kombucha, as the probiotics contained within can help with focus. I've noticed it reduces anxiety after being incorporated into my diet, however you have to do it during youth as tests on mice have shown that introducing probiotics to the gut of fully grown mice does much less for their mind.

However I've heard phenibut is not the best choice, either. Does anybody have any recommendations on whether Phenibut is a bad choice?

>To get shit done faster and spend more time not working.
That's not how it works, working faster only means you need to work more.

here is whats gonna happen

1: eventually you won't be able to handle it and crash
2: you are gonna get busted (don't know about your legal situation, could be no more than a fine to years in jail)
3: your source runs dry, you won't be able to score so easily, and stop functioning at that level and eventually slip back into depression

Also what the other anons said, if you waste away your mental health just to make some rich smug more money you are beyond salvation.

>inb4 its just lsd

I've done this long enough to be wary of that shit. I've seen people who have tripped hundreds of times before who never had a problem have the worst mental breakdown without any cause whatsoever.
I'm not saying it's gonna happen to you, but the way you describe that you have to "reset" with a hard dosage just to feel normal again sounds an aweful lot like a habit gone too far.
Have you tried to stay off it for a couple months straight ?
Also, you basically admitted you can't function without it, so how is this not a dependency ?

>inb4 anti drug

I've tripped balls before most of you were even born, i have more than enough experience to not treat psychedelics lightly.

>Useful to stay awake
I drink before sleeping. I sleep well afterwards.

addys, weed and water

Posts like yours are why people shouldn't do drugs

>all these fucking drugs
>not one mention of the drink of the gods

all the zero ultra monsters are fucking disgusting

>zero ultra
Boring. I prefer super turbo ultra.

>fucking your brain forever for some ""employer""

you dum slave niggaz

Coffee with plenty of sugar all day every day.

xanax and cocaine, unironically.

I tried to get off caffeine for a month

it was the most miserable, unproductive month of my life till the last day so I went back to coffee

is it now part of my genetics? shit's worse than heroin

>That 15 year old Boomer

How many years off your life does this stuff take?

Hot shower every morning then finish off with as cold as you can go.

1 coffee or exercise.

Omg it's like I'm a human.

Takes longer to detox sometimes, try seeking down to 1-2 cups a day.

I'm starting to notice the same thing, though perhaps not as badly. I only ever used to have 1 cup a day in the morning, but last year I started having another cup in the afternoon and now I just feel sluggish pretty much all of the time. I'm gonna try and go back to just 1 a day but by ~2pm I start to crash. Shit sucks.

I'm on Adderall for legit reasons
I can attest it is like Nitros Oxide for coding
But really tried to get by w/o it, finally went back on.

You want to see the real life "Flowers for Algernon" / "Lawnmower Man"?
Give an extreme ADHD person micro/small methamphetamine
Complete change in personality, basically different person that looks the same, super, super intelligent {mostly I mean).

They're so used to limping on a conflicted brain, that when finally working in synch, it's like nuclear reactor.
