So anons I had asked you for some help regarding x250 screen replacement. Well I ordered some x240 screen and just held my fingers crossed and tossed it in my x250 and voila, it worked.

Now I have fhd on my x250. Neat.

Anyone here tried undervolting their T410?

both are good laptops
depends on whether you want a bigger one
pretty sure there isnt an m.2 drive
there is a slot for mpcie/msata which is at sata2 speeds (better off just buying a bigger 7.5 inch SSD)

Does the t430 have an ips display

The wireless card in my t420 is performing pretty poorly. I have the Intel centrino wireless-n 1000, and I noticed on the thinkwiki that the ultimate-n 6300 has a bug in newer kernels that will not be fixed. Does anyone have any experience with that card/bug? I could also get the 6205 but would prefer higher bandwidth if the bug is rare/not that bad.

I bought a T500 today for a few bucks that was being sold for parts. The keyboard was bad, so I replaced it with a keyboardfrom a T60 I had laying around. My laptop now works, but I'm left wondering, what renders some of the keys unresponsive, and others working fine? Is The keyboard tha tI replaced salvageable?
