Cannot-fucking-wait for 'DEM JUICY 7nm Radeons in a couple months from now...boy-oh-boy, what a treat that's going to be.

ntf is medium slower than ultra? maybe its just bad drivers

Sure, matey, sure:

The 580 and 1060 scores in this are pretty impressive.

Holy shit, every day it passes I feel worse about having a fucking 3.5gb meme card. Fuck nvidia seriously. If only amd fixed its abysmal opengl support I would get a Vega 56 and never look back

>If only AMDd fixed it's abysmal OpenGL
It's been fixed for years. It's called Vulkan.

Looks like it.
Nvidia said that the presets have problems, only Low is working as intended. But if it's true than doesn't really matter much, half performance is the best case scenario for the lowest quality possible.
This thing isn't viable, and the 2070 is useless barely able to keep 30fps.

>Nvidia goyworks feature
>Broken

In other news, water is wet

>tfw Vega 64 with 144hz freesync monitor
Feels good man. Didn't fall for Njewdia scams.

>Low is working as intended
that would be a disaster. $1200 2080 ti getting lower fps than last gen $400 cards. The added visuals are worth some money, but not a $800 difference.

Jesus fuck those reflections look fucking good. Tbh I game on 1080p anyway and I feel like this adds a lot of realism to the game. I'll definitely leave it RTX On ©

U 'dun goofed, son

>If only amd fixed its abysmal opengl support
Opengl support is fine, but it only implements basic standard opengl features. There are multiple features made up by nvidia which is not part of the standard, but they are used by vidya and some emulators.

the difference in visual quality is so small you have to pause the picture to search for it and it costs 2/3 of your usual fps. what a joke. imagine wasting $1300 for a lil reflection in the water.

I hope AMD doesn't fall for this meme.

>2070 is useless barely able to keep 30fps.
The RTX X070 is now a low range model :^)

It suits Jow Forums's narrative just fine.

>can't afford 1000 dorra for a gpu? What are you, poor? GTFO to consoles!

>being an early adopter

Will devs even bother without getting nvidiabucks

>he think it's going to be better later

ACTUAL devs will, but ONLY when this is going to be a thing. Which is not anytime sooner than 2022 at the earliest, since first one is aimed to be Arcturus.

yes, it is. 2-3 generations down, aka 2-3 years, rtx performance will be good. this is the same shit that happens everytime new technology gets introduced. First gen directx 10 cards halved performance if you used dx10 also. hownewru

>performance will be good

Not until something like this lands on consoles AND runs at acceptable speeds on most hardware.
Which is not soon, and RTG's current CTO agrees with that.

Remember PhysX? lol

This is what waitfags actually believe.

*PSSSSSCCCHHHHTTT*

It will probably be late 2019 or early 2020

Arcturus is 2022 at the earliest.

Holy shit, what a fucking disaster.

This is a pretty good visual improvement over SSR. A couple years from now everyone will be able to buy a 2080ti equivalent for $300 and it should become a standard feature.

>such hard cope
>so heavy in denial

Yeah, look at those bugged god rays being reflected. Awesome.

So its more intensive for ray tracing reflections when there are rasterize reflection techniques that are almost as good as ray tracing that can give less of a hit on performance

It's been fixed, because and stopped touching it.

>denial

meanwhile my r9 290 is still running fine. best 399 $ i ever spent.
