Dont worry i wouldn't post here if i wasn't too fucking desperate. No light on the ethernet cable comes up at all. Resetted the BIOS twice. I just want to know if im missing anything or if the NIC just fucked up.

I did that but only partially.
I've also reinstalled the ethernet and wi fi drivers (no change).

Ethernet should be soldered onto the board, so if it stopped working, as in it's not detected by the OS at all, then it's probably broken. It's possible that the solder around the chip cracked when you moved the GPU. It's not your fault. I recommend just getting a PCI3 Ethernet card.

That's what i fear the most, but the thing is that in between removing and reinserting the GPU i didn't really fuck with that part of the MOBO that much if at all. It baffles me even how it coudl be possible that i fucked with the soldering of the NIC doing that.

Thank god i like to keep the drivers at hand. I will check it up again with the DVD drivers, but i DID reinstall the realtek ethernet drivers with no change on this.
