>best laptop
"No."

Gearbest, just google the name/spec i wrote.
May be a risky buy as no local support of course, if something is wrong gotta ship back to china.
Also beware it will come in chinese, reinstall or upgrade to pro to get engrish on it.

its not as good as the 17" Razor Blade Pro, the trackpad on the side makes it good as a daily driver if you use the trackpad a lot

it comes in a 4k version if you want that

>that one fuck who takes his gaymen laptop to class

Not everyone only writes sexual hentai fiction, some people need computing power for heavy engineering applications.

that laptop thermal throttles so hard that the 1060 version runs faster.

I have been out of the loop with laptop development for a few years, now someone wants me to recommend a good gaming-laptop where the wheight is not an issue (its supposed to stay on the desk all day) and he wants it to cost between 1500-2000 bucks.

I know the sticky and all, but can anyone point me in the general direction of brands to keep an eye on. I take it Razer is evidently good (thought a 17" screen would be better).

Alternatively I was just going to recommend the latest Acer Aspire Nitro since thats what I am using right now and I am reasonalbly happy with it.
