That's intentional. Email doesn't take time to "load'. The different providers add that because it creates a mental response of you wanting the email, making them seem more valuable when you get to them. It's basically a loading bar added because there are too many psychologists in marketing now.

And im confused about what bits of code are meant to be enacted on an object, and which bits are meant to be just hardcoded in the main, if any?
