Can't you just copy all the adresses in the usescript and make them 4channel so you use the same 4chanX for both?

there are some parts of the code that hardcodes 'Jow Forums.org' so the patch has to be something more elaborated, see

This worked for me. Had to copy some cookies too.
For future reference, anyway to make it apply automatically? I have my own small edits in the code that I always have to add manually during updating.

create your own branch and rebase the root for every update?
I don't think there's a way t ogo around merge conflics.
