nice panels. is the center one smaller in width?
as well, here's my shitpost station and Pi area, finally getting try Amiga stuff, as i've never had any hands on, mostly growing up with a Tandy 1000 RL, Vic20 and an Atari ST
Its weird how the wide angle option on my phone did this effect. They are all identical 27" screens.
This image makes me feel like it's 2005 but no it's actually 2018.
thanks for clearing that up!
yeah i think its about when my folks bought that tv - i got it from them last month when i was home for a family trip, and they were gonna dump it off. works great with the pi. The controller was a thrift store find. Mind you, the laptop is 'newer', being a Lenovo G585, and running Bodhi 5, because WinX runs like absolute dogshit. The Amiga games makes it feel more like the late 80s/early 90s. And yes im a 'boomer' as it's apparently referred to on her (born in 79)
That laptop came out in 2012, I'm surprised it's still running. (I have no idea what winx is aside from a fairy girls show on nick and a name of a racing horse according to google, so I'll assume you're talking about windows) If that machine cannot run windows 8, then that laptop must be really god awful, even if windows 8 itself was god awful.
No problem.
bahahaaha yeah it is pretty aweful - it was meant for Windows 8 (i shorthand Windows 10 as WinX), and this hardware was literally Lenovo putting their E1 APU Netbook line into a 15.7" laptop platform. It's not horrible, and runs like stink with Bodhi. I only use it for 'work' - i do a lil video production for the video version of a local radio show myself and my girlfriend and our mutual friend do weekly, and as well as finances, a bit of graphical work, and a bit of social media (my 'smartphone' is an iPhone 4, im not a quick adopter of hardware) for keeping in touch with friends and family who live away. Its got an E1-1500 with 4gb of ram but im gonna upgrade it to 8gb soon, as ive already replaced its 320gb HDD with a 500gb. But it was free, a friend gave it to me after his aunt gave it to him, it's lcd panel stopped working, and neither could get it to work (it was the ribbon cable going from the panel to the LCD driver board - reseated it and use a small piece of Gorilla Tape to secure it, took me 10 minutes).
>Does video and graphical work on a shitty laptop that can barely run windows 10 by itself and had to be taped in order to keep it working
God help you.
