Logitech mx500 is the ak47 of mice

There is no way that's 11 years worth of regular use. The surface is flawless. Not a single scratch. The logo is still crystal clear and unfaded. The thumb rest shows no signs of wear. This mouse has barely been used. Of course it'd still work after 11 years of sitting in a closet.

MX518 aka ole denty and reliable, I'm considering paying aftermarket prices for a second as a backup as this one is getting there.

My g700 is seven years. Although I did have to fix the left microswitch once.

This.

what's the best mouse that isn't the mx master 2s? I hate the back/forward button placement.

I want huge battery life

G502 (and/or Spectrum) is the pinnacle of Logitech mousemaking and caters to most markets with the iteration of an actually good sensor whilst being not looking like a piece of shit.

>I hate the back/forward button placement.
Does anyone really still use back/forward buttons on a mouse? The web isn't all static pages and hyperlinks anymore.

That said, the placement really does suck, I own an MX Master.

also g502 on the main rig

g700

Was actually looking at getting a g502 since my razer i've been using for the past 6-7 years is starting to fall apart.
Is there any reason to get the hero over the proteus? or any other versions I'm missing

Literally anything with a wire.

Just set up one of the other buttons with gestures for backwards/forwards

>Whilst not looking like a piece of shit
Could argue with that, but it's still a decent mouse

I've been using a MX310 for like 14 years.

The paint on the buttons is worn, the rubber on the wheel became sticky and had to be removed (I bought a replacement wheel but turns out bare plastic works fine), but other mice just don't feel right.

>hero over the proteus
slight improvement, it doesn't worth the 30-35$ difference

alright thanks

3 years in storage for part of that time sure but otherwise I take care of my shit. I was impressed that the battery still worked honestly. I also have a life so I guess I don't spend all of it on the PC.

Have you heard that they’re remaking that mouse soon?? Very hype user.

>gestures
don'tthose only work on linux?

Gestures buttons with key bindings on the mouse, not in browser

Newfags in this thread doesn't know they're looking at the best mouse pad in existence.

the gesture button on the mx master does not work in linux
