That's what google has been throwing at me too, but it doesn't seem like much better solution exists when multiple functions need the variable but those functions are all follow-ups for other functions before them. The only other way I'd see how to do it would be to pass it as an extra argument through the first few functions that don't need it, but that seems shoddy too. Do you have any idea?
I have an order of functions that get executed, but only some down the line need the variable. In order to not have to pass them through every function beforehand I thought I'd make it a global variable, but I need the thing that gives the variable its value to not be executed until called.

So randomly out of the blue one day my audio and video on chrome would go out of sync on stuff like Netflix and Amazon video.
Youtube is fine, as far as I can tell twitch is fine but when watching something on Netflix or Amazon like, you can see the lip movements go out of sync with the sound quite significantly.
This only happens with chrome, no other web browser has this problem.
Before you ask yes, I did all the things, cleaning cache, clean reinstall, removing tools and whatever else etc. I did it all, it didn't work
HOWEVER, one thing will fix it (at least until I put the pc to sleep or shut it down) if I restart the computer AND unplug and replug the Ethernet cable it fixes it. But only if I do both of them, restarting on its own does nothing and replugging the ethernet on its own does nothing, I have to do both and then finally I can watch videos on chrome with no issue.

I have an i7 8gb ram of one of these. It's really good. For some reason the fan speed is tied to clock speed. You can flash an updated bios to tie to temps though. Make sure you reinstall Windows if you want it as it's a Chinese language licence. You can't convert to English unless you make a Microsoft account.

I had to get an apple 65w charger because the charger had to be used with a universal plug. Make sure you consider this. The keyboard is ok, it's not as good as a surface keyboard but it's fine, the keyboard feels better the more you use it. Battery is fucking good, I get a day out of this easy. Has hmdi 2 instead of 3 so watch out. The usb c ports are also pretty limited.
How the fuck do I get dual monitors to work, it should be just as easy as fucking plugging it in but it just refuses I have had different monitors setup in the past but it just said fuck it. and it refuses to detect on my windows PC but is just fine on everything else.

What GPU are they plugged in? Which ports? Some share specific parts with multiple ports which then can't be used together. Mostly HDMI and DVI do this.
