can ISP's see what posts you make on Jow Forums? or do they just see someone connecting to the website? what about google with their captcha botnet?
I'd use a Jow Forums pass on a vpn, but vpns are against Jow Forums rules and im also a bit worried about someone on my vpn getting my pass banned by doing something shady while I'm on the same ip address as them and then my pass being associated with their activity etc.
only other option i can think of is renting my own VPS or getting a vpn plan that gives me an independant ip and hoping the one they gave me hasn't been banned or has bad history of abuse on other websites. Both of these options are very pricey...

Posts you've made on Jow Forums are saved on a per IP basis and available to law enforcement. I'm sure a pass would just further compound that issue.

could you elaborate? sorry my knowledge on networking is nont good, so lets say i connect to directly, what exactly does my ISP see? do they see outgoing connection to exact url or do they just see 4channel.org or 4channel/Jow Forums's IP address? I have 'https everwhere' installed by the way, so little chance of http[insecure] happening, at least i think.

I'm not doing anything nor do i intend to. But I am worried about someone using the same IP as me on a potential future vpn and THEM getting my pass banned. Not sure how passes work but don't they get attached to an IP address and then everything on that IP uses the pass?

My political views are pretty centrist, some left some right, sometimes they come out on here but i never use Jow Forums. My concern is since most of what i do is behind a vpn I don't want the only activity my ISP sees to be my Jow Forums posts.

Basically i want to avoid a situation like this where the only online activity my ISP sees is my Jow Forums browsing and posting. Sure its better than them seeing everything i do but a person's Jow Forums posts can really give insight into a person's beliefs and information they would not share publically. I just don't like the idea of them being able to see all of this and not even have to dig through layers of internet history to find it. I don't know i think I'm just having an actual autism moment again.

ISP only sees the domain but google most likely knows exactly which post have you made and will cost you a lot in the future. They may be harvesting dirt on users till they get older and fill important positions in government, business and religion. In order to control the populace. Wait for your letter from Google.

What about when i type a thread number by name don't they see me attempting to connect to that URL / part of the website? Like if i typed HTTPS://4chanorg/g/thread/68635301 would they pick up that im requesting to visit that thread directly or would they just see it as a request to Jow Forums's IP address?
