Sick of gnome3

I'm seriously sick of gnome. Could you recommend a better DE?
Are qt based desktop enviroments preferable today?

That's not how English works, friend. Feet is plural. That's just one, so it's a foot.

I use xfce but I feel like it's been getting buggier for years with every new release. Maybe mate is more reliable. Try cinnamon as well.
