Good amount of screens, but manjaro really brings down my opinion of the station. Are all the monitors hooked up to one machine?
I am glad people are still rocking CDE. Do you make icons for all of your modern programs? I did that for a while using the built in editor, but it became such a pain in the arse to get looking uniform and period correct I gave up.

I don't understand anyone who is able to enjoy and use the MacOS dock in any capacity. Probably the most annoying waste of space ever.

Two machines, both Manjaro. The laptop and adjacent CRT are one and the rest are the other. I plan to use Synergy or Xdmx or something to combine them soon.

I used Arch for a while but I found I was spending too much time searching for and installing packages instead of actually using the system. Specifically I was not able to get Dolphin emulator working, but it worked fine on Manjaro. What is Jow Forums's complaint about that OS anyway? Is it just because it got popular?

Poorly maintained. They let their SSL certificate expire (twice) and told users to set their clocks back as a "fix". They push all sorts of broken packages and ignore when upstream maintainers tell them not to. Nonfree software in the base. Systemd. There is really no reason to like manjaro.

What's a preferred Arch-based distro with a little less time requirement to Arch itself? Antergos?

Why do you want an arch based distro? There are lots of distros out there that can give you fresh packages and large repositories while also giving you a choice on init system and more stability.

Familiarity I guess. I've only really used Ubuntu, Manjaro, Arch, and Raspbian. The AUR is great too. Yaourt is a big help.

When you view content with them next to each other, do you have it span both screens, and deal with the black bar in the middle, or do you put it on one screen and tilt your head twords that one screen?

I put it on one screen and glance at the other, rather than turning my head to look at a tilted monitor

One day I'll tidy up and take a new picture. Except everything is basically the same sans-LEDs so why bother.

content either spans both monitors, with an awful black bar in the middle, or sits off center and you have to move your head to view it. Iit seems like it would be much better to have one in the middle and the other off to the left or right.

I mostly use them for transferring small files between my retro machines that aren't networked. I've also used these floppies to boot the install CD for Windows NT 3.51.
