You install the latest version of IceCat instead, and then you disable the FOSSfag shit. I'm not joking.

>disable all the FOSSfag shit
So uninstall the browser?

That's not even a tiny sliver of all the nu-Mozilla bullshit

Nah, just a few addons.

im using waterfox, and im ignoring if addons are not supposed to work on my version. im fucked somehow arent i

Last I checked, Waterfox doesn't stick closely to ESR's security updates.

What other things do I need to disable?

don't listen to these fuckheads. just follow these instructions:
privacy-handbuch.de/handbuch_21.htm
(translate with deepl or whatever you see fit.)

except for the obvious ublock origin & enable browser wipe on exit, get following plugins:
>privacy possum
>canvasblocker
>smart https
>cookie autodelete

>Version tested: 52.5.0,
Hideously out of date.

>enable browser wipe on exit
totally useless on a PC, pain in the ass to login to all the sites you're using bccause you're paranoid that someone will see your porn history. But then again incognito mode is always available

hi guys, after years of using ublock origin out of the box, i just watched this vid
>youtube.com/watch?v=2lisQQmWQkY
and holy fuck, is there a reason to use NoScript at all when ublock in advanced mode can do that much?

no, also I ditched umatrix because ublock gives me all the control I need

as in, all tracking scripts are blocked by the filters anyway and I can't be bothered to unblock one domain after the other only to find that one jsquery server that provides the js needed to use that fucking website. so, "trust temporarily" it is

by installing brave

oh the irony

Ublock Origin
Javascript toggle switch
Privacy Badger
Ghostery
Be smort

You must install:

DECENTRALEYES,

You must install/setup:

UBLOCK ORIGIN, HEADER EDITOR

You must harden your user.js

Privacy Badger is overridden by a godly setup UBLOCK ORIGIN, gorhill has a wiki to a correct setup

Ghostery REVEALED AS BOTNET YEARS AGO, YOU GOOD GOY

sorry homo. but incognito is just a meme. cache deletion is a minimum step and you utterly failed at it.

is this bait? half of these are literal, unironic botnets

1. Install uBlock Origin, CookieAutoDelete and Facebook Container. Also, uMatrix.
2. Do this: privacytools.io/#about_config

LOOK GOYM WE 0-RTT NOW FOR A FASTER LOADING !!

And that means thaf perfect forward privacy is completely lost.

use ghacks-user.js in your profile and run the troubleshooter.js file when you cant load a page.
video explanation/demonstration anonfile.com/6eZ9v9d9b6/troubleshooter_vid.zip (webm 54Mb)
also use Ublock Origin

It was okay when I used it last year. Most addons work with it and there are ports on the Pale moon website.

So how is Firefox Quantum anyway? Does it still suck? Or has it finally got good again? I've been thinking, now that Quantum is over a year old, there's no secure way to use the older versions any more. Even IceCat and ESR are in Quantum now, so it's Quantum or bust for Firefox fans.

Truth be told, I'm still on IceCat 52.6, but I'm thinking of making the switch today. What am I in for?
