What's musl? The application I need is a .AppImage and I can't get it to work on OpenBSD. I'm going to set up a VM on OpenBSD but I haven't had the time yet, so I'm considering a Linux box.

Another libc. musl+void=kernel panics when I tried it last. Alpine is better at the musl thing. glibc for compatibility. Choose a glibc distro unless you know what you are doing.

musl is another libc, almost every appimage will work on it

this thing is slow as shit, so keeping all my windows small is just a good thing -- I'd run at 640x480 if any program made after 2000 would fit on the screen, anything that needs to be scaled up too much chugs a little bit
admittedly, I would bump the resolution up anyway if I wasn't like 5+ feet away from this screen
a bit more room on screen would be pretty nice with how much I've got open, and anything I'm VNC'd into has like 2x the resolution of this lol
but I'm not gonna lie, lying in my bed is nicer

FOOL, even on 3ds running as root is risky and a security issue. Make a normal user and give proper permissions for it and also harden your configuration.

Get a real R4 with Wood kernel, not the ripoff ones that die past a certain date. Or get that kind and just set your DS clock to a time in that range.
