Blender

Also avidemux for the braindead. ffmpeg to compliment both.

KDenlive to conclude.

what about shotcut?

My Shotcut is shutting off all the time. Is my laptop too slow to handle multiple tasks?

Shotcut (like all MLT based editors) are prone to be unstable. Some people are lucky and don't experience constant crashes, but most people aren't.

Blender. Works perfectly.

I use Shotcut and I quite like it.

I just installed blender. How is this a video editor? More like 3D modelling with a stupid cube in the middle

Look up some tutorials on YT. It takes some time getting used to it.

waytoo next level for me

Blender is fucking atrocious for video editing, Kdenlive is similar to vegas pro but it's unstable af. Just use a commercial video editor.

It was buggy and couldn't export in MP4.

I started a project in Kdenlive to try it out, but had to go back to Premier.

Hitfilm is good i guess

But they're like $1000. I can't afford that shit.

How about you get a job

>kdenlive
>blender
>avidemux
Don't look towards anything else. I use Kdenlive and it works like a fucking charm (but I have never had KDE installed, so don't fall for the "You need KDE to run Kdenlive with peak performance" meme).

Adobe Premiere

nothing actually usable in a professional envirement, the closest you can get is davinci resolve on lincucks

>the closest you can get is davinci resolve on lincucks
I second this, also lightworks is pretty good, but a bit weird to learn at the beginning.

get monthly premiere subscription

Davinci resolve?
