First for TOFU
Too big m8. Get something smaller.
what caps?
Dye-sub PBT Baby from KBDFans
Recommendations for 60% keyboard?
Mechanical keyboard is out of stock on most of the small form factor keyboards.
I was going to buy a ducky but the One 2 looks like shit and its' out of stock.
thanks man, sweet board btw, what switches?
I'm working on getting a custom plate for the new 60% I'm building. But I don't have a case for it yet. The pcb has under glow, but I dont mind disabling it if the case is nice and doesnt have any way to let it show. Should I:
a. Get a Tofu
b. Get a Tina-B
c. Wait a bit and pick up a klippe of fjell when they come back in 2019

Hey gang, how's everybody doing?
Good, hbu?
BOX Jades
>tfw BIGASS return w/1u backspace ANSI chad
Great dude, just sittin here with my gu--keyboard till I get back to work!
have you ever shot up any keyboards?
What is the difference between Kailh Box switches and Kailh Speed switches?
Is this the Leopold to get, or is there anything similar that's on sale? Also, should I get O-rings or anything together with it for the Cherry MX Blues?
mechanicalkeyboards.com
Almost everything except the mount?
I'm thinking about getting a fullsize Magicforce with Gateron Reds. Is this a good board?
Learn Colemak.
>not workman
Either one is fine with me. As long as it's not qwerty.
I swapped caps on my model m from qwerty to qwertz because my typewriter is qwertz
Is this worth it? Seems really cheap for a official MX board: amazon.com
qwertz is worse than qwerty for english
I'm about to fall for the RGB meme

Some shitty membrane keyboard from 2010
My typewriter is for Polish, on pc I write pretty much 50/50 Polish and English
So does anyone know of an actual Model M form factor (aka same casing and key setup) but with backlit key caps?
Am I doing this right?
go for it
yeah a model M with a backlight mod
can you elaborate and/or link me to a website where it is explained? i can't seem to find anything explanatory
underglow is nice, it's the in switch rgb that's gay
so all kailh switches are lubricated?
The ones he mentions are. Don't know about their other switch lines.
Now that the model Fs are being repro'd, how long until we get brand-new beamspring boards?
What if you have underglow AND per switch RGB?
I don't think unicomp makes anything backlit.
the chassis is big enough you could drill through the bottom of it if nothing is holy to you.
you have a truly based and blessed keyboard
Tfw I fell for the high quality ABS meme.
My condolences. See you in a few months once they start shining up.
What case is that
Can anyone tell me what key caps the DREVO Excalibur uses?
Also is this a good TKL to get or should I get something else?
I'll be sure to post when they get nice and shiny

>see deal on black friday
>$65 for Logitech G613
>muh those switches are bad it'll be shit you'll hate it get a real keyboard
>"ok please suggest something better"
>get this it's only $120 and has muh kailh blue and 15 hours of battery life
>"wow are you retarded? this has 18 months of battery life and is half price"
>YOU'LL REGRET IT FUCK OFF PLEB NORMIE RETARD HURRRRR MUH LOGISHIT MUH ROMER-G ARE MUSH MEMBRANE + SPRINGS REPORTED
I got it and it's pretty damn good, Romer G's are a lot like reds, I don't understand what autism lead whoever I was discussing this with to shitpost at me but fuck you whoever you were
topre.
Where's the keyboard tho?
Stop typing like a neanderthal.
best layout is abcde
Actually it's this one
No this is
What unholy abominations
At least those layouts try to jam as many keys as possible in a small from factor.
cringe
why do retards do this?
Does this actually exist? Seems perfect to me. It's the only way I'd actually use a numpad.
kinda. the chinks ditched the 60% form factor and went with 75% instead
What's wrong with 68%?
>being a desklet
>make compressed layout
>give it a huge bezel
why not just make a FUCKING larger layout?
whoever makes/buys this should be executed for the good of mankind
>cringe posting
cringe
because the heavier the keyboard the better it is for home defense use. making it a full size will simply mean there is less room for metal so it weighs less.
>Budget
Don't care, though would prefer to pay less on shipping if possible (don't want to buy from Amazon US or anywhere else that geoblocks)

Ducky DK 9008S Red
not gonna lie that is a pretty EPIC meme
not everyone lives in a free country where is possible
if you do want more keys you can also go up above the alphanumerics while still keeping the extra metal.
makes me want to play a roguelike for 80 hours straight
Got a link?
Your opinion about HyperX Alloy Elite, Jow Forums?
fuck the haters, this shit is glorious
>buy shitty cherry keyboard
>scratchy as fuck
>want to lube it
>cannot lube without desoldering and of course can't desolder because of warranty
i'll buy from you for 10% original price
Is it possible to build a full keyboard (104)? I can find only cases and pcbs for 60%, but I want to use at work as well.
Is the Magicforce 108 the best choice for a full size Gateron Brown keyboard?
>mfw typing on box jades
I think that only works on certain boards because the power draw is too high. At best you'll have to get a LED strip and attach it manually
Tfw typing on vintage blacks
Does anyone know where I can get picrelated? Blank black PBT set for Keycool 84 (also known as 75%, among other names).
The only place I found doesn't sell them anymore.
Or is there a shop that sells custom sets that I can build and order it from? Preferably from China because cheap shipping.
Yes. Aliexpress has some kits
Get a chink durgod or ikbc
aren't gat blacks just as smooth?
Tfw ISO Nordic
split or full space for a DZ60 build?
I'm thinking having a layer switch under my usually useless left thumb could be cool
Should I cop an AW768? I like it’s aesthetics
Recommend me some keyboard with many unnecessary keys
Hyper 7 or Tipro if your on a budget
but I already did user
just make the switch to ansi
takes a week or two to get used to
when I tried split space I got really annoyed because I didn't realize how often I actually use the other side subconsciously. ended up wishing I hadn't gone with it.
it'll take some getting used to for sure
this is a thread for actual weapon owners boy
Their smoothness is nearly identical when lubed. Vints however have a much nicer sound and nearly no wobble while gats are high pitched and quite wobbly.
linears dont have a sound though
thats just the keycaps
the rebound sound is just plastic on plastic it should sound the same
They do though, there's a noticeable difference in sound between clear housing and opaque ones.
You lied Jow Forums - the novelty of blue switches wore off and now the noise is just annoying.
when did anyone here say that ratteling plastic click jackets are a good thing?
The reason why blues are so annyoing is because their clicky sound is plasticky and they sound like something inside the keycap is broken. Test other clicky BOX switches and you'll realize how much blues suck.
