>low output ripple switch mode power supplies are a dime a dozen >literally impossible to find a LED Christmas lights set with one >many don't even bother having a full wave bridge rectifier
I know they're Jews and Chinks that hate all things Christian but come on....
This used to be the case a year or two ago but most LED strings I've seen have become very tolerable compared to what they used to be, And one of the reasons switching power supplies are not usually found is because they are quite bulky, you could get small ones but that would inflate the price

>Couple in our neighborhood would decorate the entire front, interior, and rear of their house every year >Wife would hand paint all of the wooden cutouts >FAQ posted on the door included "What's your power bill?" "Give me your address, I'll send it to you." >Eventually they had to retire and sell off the decorations, which later appeared scattered among the other houses in the neighborhood Good shit. Now it's all obnoxious Wizards in Winter displays.
Such autism, but it's appreciated. I should get a couple LED strings.
still have them? They probably have multiple burnt bulbs. When one goes, the others burn hotter until 3 or 4 go out, then shit stops working altogether. Most vintage ones were 35-light strands which use 3.5 volt bulbs. 3.5 replacements can be hard to find, unfortunately.
