It's the only good player design really. Fuck using the library functions and such in it too. The simplicity of adding files to make a playlist, being able to drag and drop things, even adding URLs to a playlist just the same... They got that shit right the first time. iTunes style things that take up your whole screen are abominations.

Have pentium pro with 1Gb EDO. It's running windows 7 tiny, ssd via bootable sata pci controller, usb 2.0 pci card.

I also plan on getting pci ram disk when I find one for cheap for using as swap drive and will try getting modern video card running with pci-pcie bridge.

mbo has socket for 2nd pentium pro, already have cpu but I'm missing voltage regulator and heatsink for it.

People who used limewire usually used the shitty built in player on it or windows media player. Before that it was KaZaA. All the winamp guys I knew were on IRC downloading from xdcc bots, trading FTPs, etc
