Anyone know if Crashplan is runnable without a business, or will i be screwed over if i ever need to pull my files back out?

Fucking enlarge this ant thumbnail. I can't read this shit.

Crashplan small business works great. $10/month and I've got 6TB up there now and restore stuff every few months. They don't care if you are an actual "business" or not.

Fucking A, I'll give it a try then.
Thanks mate.

Click on it you doof.

Nothing - its just an SBC. Same limitations as all SBCs. Very limited number of drives, no cooling for drives, no hot swapping of drives. They're just not made to be a "real" nas. But for simple stuff, like just having a network attached drive, sure they're fine. You could also just plug an external drive into your consumer wifi router and do the same thing most likely.

Appreciate the constructive criticism user. I'll take it into account.

also worthy of note, no attention is paid to the actual use of the NAS/server

is it for data storage only?
is it media streaming?
is it running VMs?
is it file sharing (FTP)?
is it doing backups?

these are all very important questions that require different hardware/software for different use cases

Bam

Are you using yEd (yid lol) or xmind or what? Yid's interface annoys me, but it's been quicker than xmind for most things.

smartdraw.com - it was the first free thing that popped up on ddg that wasn't total trash. Forgive me Stallman.

Still too small, f@m.
