Crashplan small business works great. $10/month and I've got 6TB up there now and restore stuff every few months. They don't care if you are an actual "business" or not.
Nothing - its just an SBC. Same limitations as all SBCs. Very limited number of drives, no cooling for drives, no hot swapping of drives. They're just not made to be a "real" nas. But for simple stuff, like just having a network attached drive, sure they're fine. You could also just plug an external drive into your consumer wifi router and do the same thing most likely.

also worthy of note, no attention is paid to the actual use of the NAS/server
is it for data storage only? is it media streaming? is it running VMs? is it file sharing (FTP)? is it doing backups?
these are all very important questions that require different hardware/software for different use cases
