Intel?

>When your headless server stops responding to pings, but is still on
>You have workloads running on it
>You have no idea where a HDMI cable might be
i-i-if I keep pinging it maybe it'll wake up?

AMD & Nvidia. Though I think the most troublesome part in this build is really the motherboard.

>he doesn't have 50 gorillion HDMI cables in a big drawer of spare cables

>Move state
>Don't bring that shit with me
>All of a sudden need cables like nothing else
>Buy one
>Something else I bought has one included
>Now have two
>They're both in my car
>I'm naked
It finally woke up, so I'm happy

Happens to my phone all the time, this is what I get for falling for the pajeet lineageos meme

When you put heavy stress on your headless server but are halfway across the country and it stops responding to pings so you are absolutely fucked and can only hope that the kernel can get itself out of it's lock up

>update bios
>hear thunderstorm in the distance

this is what happens when you buy a shit PSU

> HDMI cable
You have any idea what IPMI is?

It happened to me once, I think when playing Civilization 4 or something.

insufficient cooling

>install new part
>long pause before BIOS splash screen appears

HP sucks

>Suddenly beeps from my motherboard, not even knowing it could do such in this day and age
>Everything seems normal, temps too
>BEEP BEEP

>new GPU
>starts making a whining noise like a capacitor venting

i had the same problem
>run compilation on all cores
>install fitgirl repack
>encode video
it took 2 minutes to shut it down, check temps and replace thermal paste. my temps went from 80C+ (shutdown) to 47C while running prime95 for 30 minutes

Eh, it's just how reference coolers are from Nvidishit. Just need to crank the noisy part to keep it mostly below 80.

>server
>hdmi
you are just a baby
