Slayers (1995) on 9anime. The correct way to watch retro anime is on a CRT. Its resolution is low to keep my overall framebuffer down to help fps in games.
Sick PVM. I don't actually have any CRTs I'm particularly proud of besides the sheer size of the 34" TV.

Thanks guys but it's a jvc broadcast monitor, one that is a reasonable price compared to pvms nowadays. Not student housing but class is near home.
I've recently been configuring my pc crt for low resolutions so anime will be great on that.

yeah im not really 'with it' on new things, more caring about whats under the hood versus some aesthetics. I was 26 in '05, mind you. My Workstation desk is meant to feel a bit nostalgic to me - my DosBox config on my Pi is a Tandy 1000, my computer i had in my teen years in the 90s. My gaming PC desk is a bit more 'modern', with some dollar store LED strip on the back of an old TV i use as a monitor, a hand me down Thermaltake eSports Commander and a mouse i found in a box of eWaste. Not running the best of specs til i recap my 660Ti (running the 645GTX, which, when its overclocked, runs like a 650Ti, so it gets me there).

i can dig it. My laptop is on a swivel in and can easily be taken off - the monitor on left is for gaming on my Pi as well as if i have to work on anything using Component/Svideo/Composite/RF/VGA.
also, here is my Samsung. Works great, and i mainly use it to play older consoles, my Pi1B ive set up for 240p via composite (using the Snap Deluxe shader in Retropie and set to be a progressive output) and my old Hp DV6000 series laptop via SVideo as a media center. im probably gonna spend tomorrow making a better 'stack' for the systems, as i saw i had some wasted space on it, and can eliminate the right hand side platform, moving it atop the center stack.

I put the tv up on the wall last week. Last photo was with the lamps set to red. I have RGB led bulbs in the three lights in the room so I can change it to suit whatever mood/game Im playing. Tower on the desk is a frankenstein HP I put together for my brother using some of my old parts.

Thats like totally your opinion. I am a bit cheesed that I can't change the led color of the X52 hotas. Oh well, won't matter too much once I get my Rift set up.

i did the same with an old HP case i got from curbfind. Modded it a bit (was missing the hard drive cage), and threw a bunch of OEM parts in it (Acer Veriton m480 mATX with a q6600, 555 GTX from an Alienware i salvaged, and a q6600, 8gb DDR3, 1tb Seagate Barracuda, plus one of those PCI-E 1x to Mini adapters to add a wifi card i pulled from a dead laptop), as well as a monitor from anotehr eMachine and a Dell Keyboard and Mouse, and managed to sell it local for $150, and only cost me about $30 in parts. Not a bad flip.

Total of 109 Internal Drives. Total Size of 39,324GB on those drives, with an additional 18TB of space avaliable in the closet in an old server I saved from destruction that I haven't gotten to yet. Total of about 57 and a half Terabytes of Internal Drives I haven't done fuck all with. Also have (3) 3TB Seagate Externals waiting to sell.

I've had this PC for the past 4 and a half years. I hate most new tech, and I plan on no longer using the Internet post 2025. As for the storage, I do all kinds of things. Anime, Cartoons, TV, Vidya, Movies, Porn, etc. At 50TB of Porn alone. Around 124TB full atm, with 210TB+ RAW. No backups though, as I just move the data to newer drives when needed.
