Most people work for a living and have tried all paint software and have an objective view point on what they need vs what they don’t need. Graphics are part of my job and I would never use gimp. I tried it once to do something super basic, something that would have taken 5mins in photoshop but with gimp is was just one long train of disappointment, I wasn’t able to do what I wanted and ended up uninstalling gimp and installing krita. Krita is better than gimp in almost every single way. Now there websites that do a better job than gimp like psdfiddle.com which I have been able to use for production work.
Gimp has a stupid name, with a stupid UI and can’t actually be used for any production but there are autistic retards who will defend this piece of shit.
If gimp where to disappear of the face of the world tomorrow it would be for the best.
