Great wallpaper, that. I actually found that copy of Adam Magazine online. It's Dec 1967 I think.
why do slack users always have the most boring looking environments
This is a netbook, so it's very low-powered. I use LXDE, which you can't rice much.
As well as that it may be because Slackware tends to appeal to users with more old school mindsets. A lot of us don't care about ricing, we just like things to look simple and tidy.

I'm testing ArchLabs, it looks good out of the box

I love you ruri poster
The same posters showing the same kind of desktop.
testing to see if straight debian uses less ram than mx on my librebutted crapple shatbook. so far it seems yes. gotta be frugal when 3gb's the hard limit
awful! all of them!
Any suggestions? Been trying out this freeBSD setup for a week now and it has been a pretty comfy experience so far.
you could pipe a clock into your bar if you want, or colorize your terminal. But seems fine as is.
just b urself
i changed locale to solve some font spacing issues
ambiguous width characters were a mistake
colorscheme is perfect (bg,fg,comment, accent). Stay fresh. and free.
well fug
how do I make my Jow Forums experience like that?
by using a RSS reader that can handle feeds well.. BSOD theme is under construction.
A changed Polybar a little bit but this is my first time decorating it.
I've been considering switching to i3 gaps, but I've gotten so used to windows taking up the whole screen and like the amount of space it gives me.
It's been a while
I want to get into linux but im lazy about it and i dont even know the benefits of it
currently on win 10 ltsb convince me to switch to linux
tabs > gaps
but i hear the latest i3gaps version have a feature that lets one set different outer gaps for different screen edges, add som dirty dirthacks and you can have a vertical bar, it's tempting.
Welcome back! You missed Asuka's birthday.
What's your Jow Forums setup? Custom web page/CSS?
By the sounds of it, I think you already know the benefits you're just procrastinating from installing and learning a new OS.
Are you talking about the native tabbing that comes with i3? I don't use it that much, I tend to put things in workspaces most of the time. I don't usually have a lot open at once though.
Thanks. I was there for some threads on /a/ but the festivities have really died down as of late.
just 4chanx/Oneechan with a bit of css
why is your desktop always the comfiest?
Looks real nice. I used to use 4chanx, but I think I'll give it another go and rice it to the rest of my setup. What browser are you on? I used to be able to hide all the GUI elements in Firefox and use Vimperator, but since i switched to Quantum I haven't found any functionality that allows that.
install gentoo.exe
microsoft knows that you masturbate.
here you go
dammit... forgot the screenfetch
that sentence doesn't match your screenshot. If you are just using one "maximized" window per workspace, why not use a good DE or openbox and a taskbar instead.
tabs>workspaces
I'm using palemoon at the moment. All of my stylesheets used XUL references from when I was firefox, so it was a nice transition. I've been pleased with it overall so var. Very lightweight and easy to customize.
Asuka.
Well, If I need more than one window per workspace, which I often do, I just have two open. I also like the keyboard controls of i3 and the minimalism it has. I don't need or want flashy taskbars that I need to click on to use, that just take up space.
How is the plugin support and general functionality of websites? Everything works pretty normal?
Still working on colors and shit.
there we go...
You can download a repository of all the pre-WebExtensions firefox addons. Anything from before 2018 or so works great. There's also a palemoon extension library, but its kind of sparse. I'm running things like stylish and greasemonkey with no problems at all. Just make sure to get an adblocker with an internal updating service like Ublock origin.
So far I haven't encountered any issues with webkit compatibility or anything. Some of the bells and whistles, like some animations, have been shaved off the top of more complex sites like google, but in my opinion that's a plus.
posting then going to sleep
It's not much, but it's mine.
I'll definitely give it a go, tried out the tarball from their site and it seems noticeably faster. Going to see if I can get classic Vimperator working with it.
Looking good!
Not a fan of the icon in the very top right, needs to conform to color
der we go
forgot the bloody icon name
This is good. Can you post your i3blocks config?
Is this you?
is polybar, and my config's an incomprehensible mess

Feel free to rate, constructive criticism is welcome.

uuuuuwww
One of the best wangblows desktops I've ever seen, you underestimate yourself.
Those centered icons match well with your centered date and time widget, and the font you used for said widget blends with the warmish flat style of your background.
Proof there's more of a soul in you wangers than Jow Forums gives credit for
Windows uses too much resources while idle. GNU/Linux is infinitely more customizable.
i run my own tracker. that's just what shows up in a scripted cmus feed through my contantly updated folders and servers
that being said, coldplay is pretty much a guilty pleasure
