Jam it in, user.

Buy a RJ45 crimp and some new plugs, it's not that hard.

Or stick a piece of tape to the side so it fits snug

>it fits snug
I have a similarly broken cable and it still fits snug, it's just that you can yank it out easily.

Use the zip tie technique if you're too poor/stupid to get a new cable end.

>someone intentionally designed RJ45

It's fine. This way it's easier to clean the dust and you're less likely to get malware.

Are you on dialup? Why no RAS proxy? How long ago is your hardware?

OwO don't bend me too much senpai~!

buy a crimper
buy some rj45 ends
cut the end off
barely run some scissors around from about an inch or two around the plastic
snap the plastic or pull it off if the plastic is too thin
untwist the pairs
order them
orange white, orange, green white, blue, blue white, green, brown white, brown
stroke the ordered pairs until they straighten out and stay together
cut the exposed pairs down to about a thumb width
push the pairs into the rj45 connector with the clip facing down
crimp with the crimper

congrats you're no longer fucking useless

Hoey Fook!
Thanks for sharing that

Oh, it's a tripcunt.

First time I see this but this is likely some of those "life hacks" that sound cool but doesn't work.

get this it's cheap as fuck

You can fix it or just buy a new fucking cable. A new cable will probably be cheaper than a crimper and ends. The chances of you getting it right the first time you try are slim to none.

it's not like failing it results in a useless cable, only about an inch of wasted cable, and a possibly a wasted connector, depending on what you did

>wire stripper
do you not know how to use a fucking crimp?

For cutting back the outside sheath, not the one on the strands. Many crimpers have an integrated stripper, but they tend to suck.

There are only 10 in that bag?

the ones on the crimper are great, retard, learn to use them correctly.

Meh, the ones I've used work nowhere near as well as a standalone spin-style stripper, but whatever.

Looks like more work than crimping on a new one

This must be posted on gore thread
Holy fuck

What I am saying is, for the cost and learning curve required, specifically for OP, the best, quickest, most cost effective solution is buy a new cable.

Read it again. Slower.

it says 10 time rj45 so 10 rj45 connectors and pointing at the bag, what am i missing?
other user btw

>the ones on the crimper are great
If it isn't self adjusting it's shit

I'm guessing there's 20 pieces for 10 pairs

I superglue mine into my router I can't take it out but it doesn't fall out anymore!

These connectors were designed for occasional careful plugging and unplugging by competent technicians. They aren't as robust as connectors designed for constant plugging and unplugging by the sort of spastic who picks things up by the cord.

I never cut the individual strands, what the fuck are you doing

probably, but you could say that about most things

he means to remove the outer plastic
you don't need to strip the wires
