How do I know if a graphics card is good just by knowing the model name? As an example mine is an AMD Radeon HD 7800 series.

Why don't we have pictures of tits anymore in our GPU boxes?

The bigger the number, the better.
> 7800 > RTX2080

if it can run fortnite then its a good card

>mine is an AMD Radeon HD 7800
Oh, THAT one. Yes, I'm afraid that's one of the known bad cards. Terrible performance. You could have gotten something else with 4x the performance for the same price. You fucked up, m8

how viable are AMD cards for gayming? thinking about building a true amd build but i dont want to be cucked by nvidia

Vega56 is pretty great.

wait until navi or buy rx580 if you can get price parity with the cheapest 1060 6gb you can find

wait for the new gpus to drop. both amd and jewvidia prices are pretty shit

This, someone post the graph please.

I wonder how many clueless normies have bought something like a gt 720 and thought it was faster than a gtx 660?

>upcoming AMD cards are named 3xxx
>the next generation Nvidia cards will be RTX 3xxx
wtf boys

I lmao daily at AMDcucks
cheap and shitty components for losers
Nvidia cards SMOKE Radeon and Intel DESTROYS AMD processors

tbdesu I'm betting that the next Nvidia cards are gonna be 21xx.

By knowong the naming scheme
Hd 7870
>7000 - 7th gen - were good 5 years ago now obsolete
>800 midrange card (900 vere the top end)
> 70 non cut down version. 50 was the cut down one.

When all else fails, AMD turns to cheap tricks to try and fool buyers into thinking they're buying superior Nvidia tech. LMAO

Frankly I just posted my PCPartPicker build on forums until I got a feel for what can do what.

I love this kind of graphs mainly because brainlets actually fall for it.

...

You kinda answered your question in the post

But it was the Radeon HD 7xxx series not the HD 78XX series.

So HD 7870 > HD 7770
HD 7870 > HD 7850

I have a 4870x2, thats 9740
almost as good as the legendary 9800GT
