Do you know any services like Google Play Music that allow you to upload songs and stream them from a web browser?
Streaming your own music
Other urls found in this thread:
Subsonic or Airsonic
Both seem nice, but I'm looking for hosted solutions.
Keep your thread alive for me. I'll reply back in a little bit with some answers.

Plex?
Looks like a neat site
google play sucks dick. they censor all the swear words of your songs unless you specify that you don't want them to for each of the song containing swear words. at least that was the case when i used it. then again, you can upload 50k of your songs so what am i to complain. i use google drive to sync my encodes to my phone.
I've been using the service since it came out and it has never censored my tracks before ever.
Any FTP/SMB server + Neutron.
Self hosting?
MPD is a self-hosted server solution. While I haven't heard of a web-based MPD client, that doesn't mean it doesn't exist or that you can't code yourself one.
Be creative.
PS: You can always SSH into your server remotely and use the built-in HTTP stream to listen while on the go. There are a few handy Android MPD clients I can recommend - like M.A.L.P. on F-Droid
Soundcloud, check mine out

Apache + clients for subsonic because ampache specific ones suck

I was considering Google Play Music even though I don't like Google because it's exactly what I want (I upload songs and I can listen to them via a web interface), but it says it has to verify my country of residence via a credit card. What the fuck? I'm only interested in playing my library, why do I have to that? This company has really lost its way.
I'm pretty sure this is because it's illegal in some countries, so they need to make sure you're not from there
something like that, they didn't charge my credit card when I did it a few years ago
meant to reply to sorry
Can you upload your library to Spotify and have it sync on different devices? Is there any limit? Do you still have to listen to ads?
can you upload to spotify?
upload to your youtube channel, mark everything unlisted or private, enjoy
well apart from the playback stopping when you turn the screen off I guess
