twin stacks don't cool consumer CPUs better than single stack.

they only make sense for threadripper and xeon shit.

*blocks ur ram and pcie*
nothing personel kid

Some people like quiet computers. You can run something like this or a d15 almost passive even on 8 core CPUs.

>put computer in next room
>pull DP cable and USB3 through wall

you fucks don't even know what quiet is.

>implying only twin stacks can be made big enough to dissipate large amounts of heat
I haven't bought a twin stack cooler since D-14, but fuck that heatsink if you want an actually quiet computer. The gap for the middle fan is so tight, that the blades of the fan start producing an audible hum due to proximity to the front stack. LGM for lyfe, yo.

It looks achroashus
Atroetious
A'treaux cious
Uhtrowshuss
Atrocious

It looks awful.

Thank god I'm not the only one who came up with that.

I hope you have a desktop case (not a mid tower) because that picture screams cracked motherboard.

It doesn't scream anything, unless you're the special kind of autist, that kicks his computer around.

Did you mean
>the final solution on cpu cooling

you're like a little goyim, watch this!

>PC burning in the other room
>pretty quiet tho

Air cooling is pleb tier.

air cooler like NH-15 is the true redpilled CPU cooler cause it's performs better than all 120/140mm AIO's and many(but not all) 240mm AIO's while cost less with better acoustics. also FUCK RGB

>phanteks
Yeah no

That actually looks amazing.
It's like a 80's mall cafeteria

WANT

How do you put the CPU in?

why would it burn in a 30 m2 room with all fans going as fast as necessary?

Noctua>all aircoolers

i like a nice looking mono-block on CPU's and VRM but the RGB cancer is just too much in this pic. let's see if they do a Ryzen variant at launch of 3xxx series
>inb4 600$ price

gib 140mm sterrox fan nao

wrong

It has a loading mechanism like a VHS machine.

fuck I want that

8db, 125w TDP.

water cooling would bootyblast both of those heatsinks

still the king after all these years baby
AiO's can't even compete

Attached: 35-608-045-01.jpg (640x480, 41K)

A 280mm AIO blows that thing out of the water and won't wreck your motherboard.

Mine's in a MicroATX and was piss easy to install, not even that heavy. AIO's can only match it, not exceed its performance

>AIO blows that thing out of the water and won't wreck your motherboard.
>wont wreck your motherboard

huh what's this

they'll instead wreck your motherboard's vrm

*leaks*

HP Z Station Cpu cooler.

how do i open the case without destroying the cpu though?

well first take the patties off

What does being quiet have to do with being cool

cryorig.com/af41.php
get on my level retards

Finally something for my excavator APU.

Zalman.
They are still making the best all copper CPU coolers but they are idiots who can't into marketing so no one knows about them anymore.

zalman.com/na/contents/products/view.html?no=461

i want it in a slim itx desktop case so i can have it go through a cutout in the top of the case like the intake on an old muscle car

they don't benchmark very good though

just fucking pour water on your computer you fucking morons

if you use a CPU in your pc, you dont belong on this board

>oh no i can't hot swap my ram
>oh no i can't see muh rgb heat fins
All competent coolers have clearance for all slots to be filled with standard height RAM.

your shitty water loop needs air cooling too you fucking idiot. you might as well drop your PC into a bathtub of water if you seriously think water cooling is better (its not).
All water cooling does is store all the heat in the closed loop, the more water you have the longer your system will be cool.

Pretty much this. All it does better is prevent temp spikes better and allow for bigger radiators. If the water doesn't get cooled, the CPU just has hot water running over it.

Stages of cooling:
>Stock cooler
>Basic Tower cooler
>AIO
>(optional custom loop)
>final red pill to tower cooler, perhaps double

>final
>not even a chiller
You are like a little baby

>blocks your path
heh, nothin personal kid
really though, it's a shame you can't use it with the front fan if your ram is over like 38mm high, i.e. no heatsink. All the 3200+ come with a heatsink, the lowest I could find was 40mm

this

I'm lucky that the DRP4 I'm going to buy next year is compatible with tall ram. All the fast speed ones are tall these days. I think the D15 needs a revision for modern ram.

I used to use a zalman back in the day, I think it cooled my Q9450 quad core. God I can't even remember now. Old Guts.

These days I cool my 8700k with a NH-D15 which does a great job even with just 1 fan installed.

Forgot the image

Is there even a CPU hot enough to justify this?

8 series overclocked, or 9 series stock with high workload

Especially if you leave AVX instructions enabled and don't use an offset, even at 4.8Ghz with AVX being used the 8700k gets seriously fucking hot.

That's actually really cool, you should do that user
