Year 2080
>year 2080
>Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Tencent, Alibaba already has so much money, they build their own cities and nations
>no privacy anymore, everybody has an Alexa-like assistant, which spies on you 24/7
>everything "smart", everything is monitored. Everywhere is spyware, AI-powered drones and cams & every electronical device has a microphone
>social-score like in China
>people don't care. They have cheap flats and the latest smartphones
>Internet is only available for a miniority. Other people just have access to an intranet (GNet, AmazonNet, ...)
>no freedom of press anymore. No freedom of speech. Critics lose their account (includes flat, job, car, access to "public" company-owned services)
>Programming languages is different between every company (apple = swift, google = go, amazon = anything stupid)
>States doesn't have might anymore. Everything is privatized. No democracy anymore (you can vote, but the president, the parlament and judges don't have any might. Corruption isn't illegal anymore. It's still called "lobbying")

Birth rates are dropping as it is with the modern lavish lifestyle. If social points take over, expect to see major drops.
>year 2080
>CPUs peaked at ~8 GHz, four decades ago
>it's just more cores now
>everybody uses the language with a GIL
