You would if you could, I guarantee it. It would even be rational, why would someone choose to have infinitely more suffering than necessary? Even if you are happy now, it would be absolute hell in comparison to how you *could* feel.

Yes, if you got hooked on it you would never stop. But most people wouldn't ever start, assuming the authorities made clear what effects it has on people.
