I used to use that but just use potplayer now. There are probably better options, but I can't be bothered with messing with players and shit now. I think back to how long I spent setting up mpc and it feels so autistic now.

It's not useless because of no updates, it's useless because MPC-HC includes everything needed for playback by default, only retards use codec packs.

That was never king. It was mpc-hc and madvr but now they updated it so it has gpu decoding support
