a 2500u is all you need, you can get 60 fps in warband pretty easy with it. If you want intel look for something with an mx150 (the non throttled 25w version) because HD graphics are shit. Even the throttled version is better than HD graphics, but you'll lose like 40% performance. If you go ryzen avoid the 2700u and stick with the 2500u, the 2700 chokes itself for power and actually gets worse performance than the 2500u.

Thinking of getting one myself. I've been running with a 960 for a long time now and it feels appropriate to upgrade

I'd prefer amd get its ducks in a row to pull off a good launch than have problems. I do wish they'd launch the mobile ryzens though, I'm in the market for a new general purpose work/light gaming laptop and it's taking a lot of my self control to not pull the trigger on a good one right now.
