Because when I ask why I should use Linux, people tend to say "it just works", when the following doesn't "just work" (or doesn't work at all)

And other reasons given aren't convincing either, or add so little that they don't offset the above annoyances.

pretty sure you can't get the rift software working in linux. also your gpu not working is a pretty big deal. no reason to not run windows if you are doing VR
