We have no practical means of transportation or communication to get out of solar system.
And anything that could possibly do it right now exists only in the wonky science fiction.
We have no means of ftl or teleportation and we cant even freeze a person and then unfreeze them alive for a slower than light travel.
Not to mention slower than light travel will require the ship to function properly without maintenance for 300 year straight which is unfeasible in itself.
